On April 6, 2022, Jacobus Energy filled our fuel oil tank without my or my wife's permission. Jacobus filled our tank with 197 gallons of fuel for a total of $879.21. My wife told the driver NOT to fill the tank when he was there. The delivery driver, called the office and then filled the tank anyway without our permission. Jacobus was told prior to this delivery to NOT fill the tank unless we call them to request a fuel fill up. We had ordered a gas furnace that was to be installed in May, 2022 and had no use for fuel oil any longer. Jacobus kept sending invoices for this $879.21 and I sent a letter advising I'd pay $50 a month until the oil would be pumped out and sold. Jacobus then sent a letter, dated June 22, 2022 stating we were on the ********* Program and claimed they were not advised to remove us from the ********* Program. I had previously called them and told them the ONLY way *********** is if I call them and request it. They claim I never said that and I did. They are now sending a final warning of collection, dated, October 22, 2022 for the remainder of $299.00 due to them. I will be sending in the final payment on Sunday, October 30, 2022. However, I am extremely upset with their treatment of our account and they refuse to call us back to discuss. These are horrible business practices and now I am stuck with a tank of fuel oil which I cannot utilize and had to pay for when they were specifically told by my wife to NOT fill the tank.Any questions, please contact me at ************.Thank you,***************************
