Last year (2022), I bought multiple plants (3 raspberry, 1 blackberry, 3 blueberry) and of the seven, two did not grow. But they still get five stars as customer service was great and refunded my money for those two. What were little sticks with a few leaves by end of season are really robust bushes this year (raspberry & blackberry have multiple 3-5' branches). Looking forward to buying a bunch of bulbs in the fall to fill in a drab corner of the yard. Definitely recommend HBF!Holland Bulb Farms

Total Rip off and scam! Ordered something and they never bloomed. Was told to " wait to see if they would bloom". ***** in September when it's the end of the season? Contacted the company and was told I would only receive " store credit" for my purchase. Why so I can receive more subpar things from you while you profit off my hard earned cash? Thank you so much for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear the items failed to bloom this season. We do offer a 100% Grow Guarantee on items that fail to grow their first season. Since we do send everything in a dormant state, it can take 6-8 weeks for items to start to sprout. Not all items will bloom their first season since some do take longer for roots to become established. As long as the items grow foliage the first season, this allows them to store enough energy to bloom the following season if they are hardy in your zone. It looks like you did reach out that the items did not perform well for you at which time we did issue a store credit. Per our Grow Guarantee, we do offer a store credit so which does not expire so you choose items that *** be better suited for your climate. We do guarantee to ship out viable items in good planting condition. Once an item arrives and is planted, there are multiple factors such as lighting, planting techniques, soil condition, watering, etc. that will determine the success of an item. Although these factors are out of our control, we do still offer the Store Credit if an items fails. Again, we are very sorry the items didn't work for you but the store credit does enable you to try something that *** work better for you in future seasons.Review fromDenise P.

Don’t even bother ordering anything because it will arrive broken and dead! I ordered a clematis and it arrived in an open mesh sack and was loose in the box. It also took a week for this plant to be delivered instead of the promised 1-3 days. It arrived dead and when I asked for a refund, I got one email asking for photos and never heard from them again. Hello,Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the condition the Clematis arrived to you in. After reviewing you order, I see you placed it on Friday, July 7. We do state on our website that we ship all our orders within 1-2 business days, we are not open on weekends. The order was shipped on 7/11/23, the second business day, and arrived to you on 7/14/23, within 3 days. Per our Grow Guarantee, we do state if you are concerned with the condition of any items upon arrival, we do require images. Since we are online only, we don't require to return items to us, we just ask for the images. We replied to your email on 7/14/23 asking for the images but it doesn't appear we ever received them. Although the images we never sent, we did go ahead and issue a refund to you on 7/19/23 for the entire order. Again, I do apologize for the inconvenience this caused. Please note in the future we do require images of anything that is in poor condition and we'd be happy to find a solution for you!Review frommelissa h

I bought some daffodils from HBF. They sent me the incorrect item. I asked for a replacement, but they would not give me one. However, they told me they would give me store credit. However, the store credit is HALF of what I would have to pay to buy a replacement of what I purchased. I requested a full refund or enough store credit to get a replacement, but they have stopped responding to me. This is probably the 3rd or 4th time they have sent me the wrong item.Holland Bulb Farms

Hello,Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the solution regarding the Daffodils that bloomed incorrectly. I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you. We are working very closely with the supplier that packages these for us to help correct any future issues with mislabeling items. Per our Grow Guarantee, we do offer either a store credit or refund back to the original form of payment if items are incorrectly labeled. However, you used store credits to pay for the entire order so a refund to the original form of payment is a store credit in which we have already issued in the amount you paid for the item that was incorrect. Unfortunately since you did make this purchase with a store credit, that is the only option we have for redeeming you for the item. You can use the credit on any future purchase. The item that we issued the credit for is available this coming season and is currently $1.00 more than what you paid last year but with ongoing sales, it may be a bit less in the future. Again, I do apologize you are not satisfied with our solution. The refund was posted to the original form of payment which was a store credit.Review fromken k

I have been a customer of Holland Bulb Farm now , and been with other nurseries but I like this one because it is buy AMERICAN!. I have brought gladilouis from them and will buy tulips and crocus. I told others to buy bulbs from Holland Bulb Farms I purchased purple gladiolus, red parrot green, many colors and gladiolus to plant they have come up and have started to bloom . They are beautiful as my neighbors cannot get over them. They stand "100% guarantee". If the plant is wrong or just doesn't grow, with reasonable proof (a photo) they promptly issue a replacement. credit or if it is out of season, they will offer to send the item to you the following season if you wish. Holland Bulb Farms sent me the wrong flowers and after I let them know and included photos of their mistake they only offered a credit for the flowers and NOT the shipping. All they need to do is refund my money or send me the correct order but they are not interested in doing the right thing - Here's their VERY UNSATISFACTORY response."Thank you for contacting us regarding order #******* and for providing us with images. I am so sorry to see the Dahlia bloomed the wrong variety. It is possible the supplier that packages these items for us either mislabeled the package or packaged the wrong item.""At this time, were not able to send you a replacement but only able to offer you a merchandise credit in the amount you paid for the item less the shipping fee cost as per our Grow Guarantee."Holland Bulb Farms

We do work very closely with our suppliers and pass along any images of incorrect items so they can correct any concerns in the future. We do state on our Grow Guarantee that if items blooms wrong we issue either a merchandise credit or a refund. Generally when we offer a credit, we do also include a free shipping coupon if shipping was paid on the original order and I do apologize that was not included in the credit information. I have been a customer of Holland Bulb Farm for 4 years now, I have used a few different online nurseries, but with their outstanding sales and consistent quality customer service, I now use them exclusively. I purchase my tulips every fall. I highly recommend the Golden Apeldoorn Darwin Hybrid Tulips. Early bloomers and that sudden burst of cheerful yellow after the long gray winter is just a joy every year. And yes, they do sometimes get it wrong. Not sure where the breakdown is, but I have received the wrong color/variety of some bulbs on occasion, despite being labeled with what I ordered. But they absolutely stand behind their "100% guarantee". If the plant is wrong or just doesn't grow, with reasonable proof (a photo) they promptly issue a replacement. credit or if it is out of season, they will offer to send the item to you the following season if you wish. I have done that too. Never had to follow up. They send an email prior to shipping. They hold items for shipping til it's time for planting in your zone or if it's in season, they really are on the way in 1-2 business days. My yard is now full to overflowing every season with gorgeous flowers I have ordered from Holland Bulb Farms. I highly recommend them. (and often)Holland Bulb Farms

This is a trustworthy company. I purchased tulip and daffodil bulbs in Fall of 2022. When at last they all bloomed, I noticed I received some purple tulips rather than the spring green tulips I had ordered. Even though there was like 6+ months that had passed, I sent them an email hoping they'd maybe send new ones or something? Well they responded and gave me store credit for the cost of the tulips, a free shipping code, and I guess I get to keep the purple tulips too! Also you earn points when you shop there so you get rewarded for ordering again, which I just did in June 2023. Excited to see if these much different variety of plants will produce as beautifully as my last order did. I'm always apprehensive about trusting online plant purchases but I am confident in this company to make things right.Holland Bulb Farms
