    DO NOT BUY THIS COMPANIES CANNA LILLIES. They had a promo called the "Pink Canna Collection" which featured three varieties of pink Cannas in the pictures online. I ordered two of these collections and took care to plant them as soon as possible after they came in the mail. Though 2 of the rhizomes were completely moldy and literally disintegrated in my hand, I remained optimistic about the rest of them that looked healthy. I made sure to plant the taller ones in the back row and the dwarf cannas in the front. About a month later I had 2-3 foot tall leaves and was so excited when the flower buds started to show. I was dismayed when the first one had these tiny, spiked flowers all over that were harsh red and orange. I waited another month thinking surely the others would produce pink flowers. Sadly, this was not the case. Out of nearly $60.00 worth of rhizomes every last one of them produced this exact same flower, and they are all tall. I could have lived with it, if the flowers were at least pretty. They are not. The flowers most closely resemble a Musifolia canna. When I tried to chat in about it on the website, they ended the chat when they realized it was not a person wanting to make a purchase. I called and the line only beeps. Over email, they did offer me a store credit, and a promo code to cover the shipping, but the only reason I bought from them at all was because I wanted pink cannas. They clearly don't have what they advertised, so I don't know what good a store credit is, when they don't have what I want. Super upset that I wasted a whole growing season on this purchase.

As stated in our Grow Guarantee, our suppliers do package everything for us and, although uncommon, occasionally items may be packaged incorrectly or mislabeled. We do work with our suppliers when these mix *** happen and work to ensure they are resolved for future orders. We do apologize as we do take pride in sending out quality products that do match what we are selling on our site. It does appear the images were provided to us via email and we have offered a solution per our Grow Guarantee. We will certainly forward those images to our supplier to help resolve this mistake for future. Thank you and again, I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

    Ordered from a friend's daughter who was doing a fundraiser. Ordered a large order as they have a grow guarantee, however I didn't get growth and they said they decided I have bad soil and must not have prepared things right so they wouldn't send me replacements and said if I spent more money they'd give a discount. I said why would I spend more money when things didn't grow, I sent pictures of my thriving flowrrs including those from bulbs I'd gotten in the fall and planted saying my soil seems just fine for all of these. I definitely recommend stearing clear of this company as they don't stand by their guarantee at all. Had I known this at the time I wouldn't have placed a large order. I wish there was a way they were held accountable, especially since they're stating a grow guarantee. I personally wish I'd never heard of them or had known they don't stand by what they say. I feel people should be warned from ordering from this business.

    Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with our fundraising division. After reviewing your order and your email communication, I do see that the images you did provide of the planting areas do have a lot of grass growing which can make it difficult for bare roots to successfully grow as our representative did indicate. Per our Grow Guarantee, we do cover items for the first growing season and are always willing to work with finding a solution if items don't grow. Since you did order through our ********************* we do not offer refunds since we cannot take money away from the group you supported with your purchase. Instead replacements were offered to you either next Spring or this coming Fall equal to the amount you paid on your original order. It appears you did agree to have Fall bulbs sent to you this coming season as those items may be a better option for you with greater success in your planting areas. Once we have your selections from the link we sent you, we would be happy to enter that replacement order for you and ship the replacements this Fall when it's the appropriate time to plant.

    This company scams people out of their m0ney, and that's it !!! t will not answer the phone or reply after they have your money.. I ordered 100 bulbs and not 1 bloomed. Why are these scammers still allowed to stay in business? How can i get a refund if they refuse to answer the phone? The reviews for holland bulb farm are horrendous!!!!!! Shut them down.

    Thank you so much for your review. We are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the results of the items you purchased from us. After reviewing your one order with our company, I do see you reached out with images on 7/9/24 showing the items did in fact grow foliage and one had bloomed. We did reply that ********* do take time to bloom, generally about ***** weeks after planting. Since you received your bulbs in mid-May, we would expect they would start blooming in the next couple of weeks. Since all did grow beautiful foliage and buds did appear to already be setting on those stalks there wasn't a need to find a solution. The bulbs all did grow which means they were viable, they just haven't been in the ground long enough yet to bloom. Again, since they have all grown beautifully, you should see some blooms within the next couple of weeks after they've had enough time in the ground. Thank you again and with some more patience, you are sure to have some beautiful gladiolus in your garden soon!

    Deceptive billing and false advertisement Order #***-*********** Spring. I ordered from HBF website Brideget's Sultry Sun Plant Trio on sale and 3 different rhinzomes of iris also on sale on 6/25/24. The check out total cost was $124.99. The confirmation e-mail listed 4 items: 73116 Rosemond Cole Canna, 73123 Flame Calla Lilies, 73134 Millennium Queen Calla Lily and 79148 Bridget's Sultry Sun Plant Trio. But the orders of iris were not shown. I received the box delivered on 6/28. There are three packages of 73118, 73123 and 73134. However, package 79148 (Sun Plant Trio) and the additional iris I ordered were missing. I contacted HBF immediately chatting with Lui F.. The person told me the Trio actually includes all the other 3 plants. He or She did apologize for the "confusion". The price of $124.99 for the order was correct. I went on the HBF website right away. The Trio's sale price is $28.64. I believe HBF charged me the FULL prices of the Trio plus the three individual plants as well as the additional iris ordered but not delivered. Therefore, I grieve against HBF a) False Advertisement: charge full prices on check-out instead of advertised sale price; b) Double billing: not only charge the whole package but also charge the individual merchandize separately; 3) Fraudulently delete ordered mechandizes (iris) but still collect the payment. HBF should be reported to ********** ******* ******* if found to have a pattern of deceptive business practice.

    I was about to contact this company as my three bulbs of Crown Imperials never came out the ground this spring. But after reading all the reviews I decided not to waist my time and effort. I would rather report them to BBB and Attorney General as they cheat customers out the money providing dead plants. My bulbs looked dry upon arrival, but I still decided to give them a chance. Sure enough none of them grew. I have ordered Crown Imperials before from different nursery and had a great experience. Holland Bulbs is a joke!

If the items are exposed to any moisture, it is very common for them to rot in the packaging or while in transit. We do have a 100% Grow Guarantee during the first growing season on all of our items and are more than happy to help find a solution for these items that didn't grow this Spring.     Either the Holland Bulbs doesn't know what they have in stock or intentionally engages in fraud. I ordered a bunch of various cannas but the plants I received don't match the description at all. I ordered a Wyoming canna, which is the plant with dark leaves. However, the cannas I received have light green leaves. I had the same problem last year and the seller explained at that time that I received mislabeled items. I ordered 6 different canna varieties but most of them were the same unattractive, fast spreading wrong cannas. I naively assumed that it was a single isolated mistake. However, it looks like they know they have the wrong items in stock and don't care. They consistently keep shipping less attractive and probably much cheaper cannas that don't match the description of the plants customers order. This year I also bought Futurity canna (dark) and Stuttgard cannas (white/green leaves) but they all have green leaves. It's possible I received the same variety with different labels. I bought these plants at the end of the season and probably received whatever they couldn't sell. I do NOT recommend Holland Bulbs if you shop for cannas. Two years in a row they shipped me the wrong items. I had good experience with tulips.

    In spring of 2023, I purchased over 60 casablanca lily bulbs from your web site. The description stated "fragrant". The picture showed white ruffled petals. After blooming, not one lily was fragrant. The petals were smooth, nut ruffled, and were yellow, not white. When I called to complain, they informed me it may take a year for the fragrance to appear. I stated that my other casablanca lilies purchaes elsewhere didn't take year(s) to become Fragrant. The customer service rep did nothing to resolve my problem. Fast forward to 2024, all lilies are in bloom. They are not white with ruffled petals AND there is NO fragrance! This was a total waste of money, time and effort. Poor service, misleading advertising AND wrong product.

    Hello,I'm sorry to hear you are not happy with the Casa *******************. Our customer service manager who is a degreed horticulturist did review the images when you sent them and you did receive the correct item. The description doesn't indicate the petals should be ruffled at all when they are in bloom. Fragrance does become more prevalent with maturity and is very dependent on the environment. The warmer the conditions are and the more mature the plant is will help the fragrance become more noticeable. As indicated in our email back to you when the images were sent, we did inform you it could take time for the fragrance to appear. Thank you again, we certainly do take all concerns very seriously and hope that with time the fragrance will become more what you were expecting.

    I placed a sizable order with Holland Bulb Farms in Fall of 2023. I ordered Fun Time Gladiolus and Rhapsody in Blue Gladiolus. When they bloomed recently ALL of the Gladiolus are plain yellow and they are identical yellow. So its obvious this was not a mistake, but Holland Bulb Farms taking orders for a product they did not have and just shipping Gladiolus to fill the order. Big business now thinks customers are too stupid to notice or that they wont care. Ive got news for all companies that pull this garbage, I do care and I wont do business with companies that treat me this way. Goodbye Holland Bulb Farms I will never order from you again and I advise others to think twice before ordering from them.

When packaging human error can certainly occur and it is not done intentionally and we take any mistakes seriously and do whatever we can to make corrections in the future. After reviewing your account, I don't see that you had reached out to us directly regarding the Gladiolus growing the wrong variety. We do have a 100% Grow Guarantee that does state the following:MISLABELED ITEMS Although uncommon, human error can occur during the packaging process and items may be mislabeled. If you have received an item that is not true to the variety as labeled, please contact us during the first growing season* with an image of what you received. Submitted images are necessary to help correct any mistakes for future seasons.Once images are received and reviewed, our team will be able to offer a merchandise credit or a refund back to the original form of payment.Please send images directly to our company and we would be more than happy to find a solution for you.

    They have a 100% satisfaction and they are giving me the run around and I have been telling them for the last 4-6 weeks that the bulbs are mushy and not growing. I ordered about 400.00 in bulbs I am very disappointed with the quality and customer service. I have been waiting for some type of resolution but they keep telling me to wait.

    I still am waiting for a response from the bbb *********** is not honoring its 100% guarantee. All I want is the bulbs replaced. I dont feel they are honoring their warranty. Now they are saying that it is where I planted them. Plus they were very rude in their response. I am really disappointed with them. Either I want my order replaced or I want a refund in a check form. My mother in law canceled that credit card. She has passed away and I am very very upset about the whole situation!!! **** and *******************

We are certainly not trying to give you the run around, just a follow up on some clarification to help us resolve the concern. When you began reaching out to us, we did ask you to provide more times for the items to sprout this Spring since you do live in a colder climate. In colder climates the bulbs can take a bit longer to sprout. We did also follow up with an email on 6/5/24 but unfortunately it bounced back stating your inbox was full and could not accept more images. If you are able to send us images of the items that did grow/where they were planted, we would certainly like to help find a solution. Unfortunately without further clarification and the images we require to complete our investigation on why such a large order failed, we aren't able to proceed. Please reach out to us directly and send any images as a jpeg, it does appear we weren't able to open previous ones as well. Thank you
