The service department is a complete scam. I brought my 2017 Silverado in to fix a slight leak from the transmission pan. They had to retap a bolt in the pan and ended up cracking the case to the point it was unrepairable. Upon pick up, they covered up the crack they created by stating a bell housing seal was leaking. Fluid from the transmission pan was leaking constantly from my pan, 10-20x worse then when I brought it in. Brought the truck back a 2nd time, still stating the bell housing seal was leaking. Then finally on the 3rd time, they showed one picture of the trans crack and blamed the damage on me. The service manager would not admit the damage they created, with the GM coving it up the damage they inflicted. I ended up buying a remanufactured transmission out of my own pocket. Do not take anything to these con artists.

Recently brought our 2020 Silverado in to get fluid maintenance and oil change. At which point we where informed that all 4 rotors are completely rotted and the front pads had 10% life remaining and the rear pads 20% life remaining. Then we were told this was a serious safety issue and it was highly recommended we correct these issues immediately at the cost of $1200+. This didnt seem right since in no way did the vehicle show or exhibit any sign of braking issues. So we decided to take it to a much more trustworthy and well respected auto shop nearby. Upon doing so we were told the rotors are in perfect condition minus light rusting that could be found on any new vehicles rotors sitting on the lot. Also they stated that the front pads had 40% wear and the rear at only 30% wear, which puts us at 60% remaining and 70% remaining respectively. Their recommendation and ours is that lynch is simply trying to take money from people through deceiving the people that put their faith and trust in them. With the use of predatory tactics such as fear based impulse responses and falsified information. Shame on you Lynch dealerships and service centers. I will also be filing a complaint with the better business bureau, as I have a copy of the recommendations made by lynch as well as the phone call speaking to the severity of the situation and its dangers of not doing it immediately. Hope this helps someone that perhaps finds themselves in a similar situation!
