IFS Delivery was contracted by ************* to deliver and install the washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator, purchased by me for my new build home at *************************************************** ******** was arrogant and rude, and damaged walls and appliances during their delivery on October 30, 2024. I provided pictures and a full description of my complaint to them, as directed. I requested a full refund of the delivery charge of $185.00 for compensation of the damages. It was agreed I would drop any further claims and they would send a check within 30 days. All conversations were through email and a matter of record. The 30 days have elapsed and no payment has been made and *** has not responded to a recent demand to make overnight payment. Since july 6th I have been trying to get answers from IFS and Bestbuy as they installed a dishwasher incorrectly and it caused damage to my home as the water was pouring out of the back. I sent in pictures of the damages and the hook-up and they told me they didnt have any pictures on their end for when it was installed and than I have been ignored after being promised several times that I would be contacted in 10 days This was the message Hello My name is ***** ******** from Innovative Freight Systems (IFS), an authorized delivery partner for Best Buy. Im reaching out regarding the claim you submitted with ********, which has also been forwarded to the contractor responsible for the delivery on 2/13/2023. According to ***/******** claims policy, the contractor has a 10-day window to work with you on resolving the claim. If no communication is established from the contractor within this period, *** will take over the claim and communicate directly with you to expedite the resolution process. Expect to hear from the contractor in the next few days.After this 10day time period I contacted IFS to tell them I was never contacted by the contractor and IFS argued with me that i had to wait for the contractor to contact me ignoring the promise that was sent to me after that i got the contractors number and texted him and emailed him as well and I was texted back that he would check his email and get back to me which i was ignored again with no answer so i wrote IFS again and they said they were going to look into it after saying they dont have any pictures on their end and I have heard a word from them for a month and Ive written with with no answer back. On top of all of this the contractor told me to steal the machine and to sell it on the side when he was installing it as he told me it was improperly hooked up and he would just write it off as I didnt feel comfortable with this I called to return the Exchanged Item and it caused lots of confusion thats adding to thisInitial Complaint

On 6/17/24 I had delivery and installation by IFS of appliances purchased from Brothers Main.About $4000 of appliances were purchased.Improper installation of the refrigerator water line caused damage to carpet and flooring.IFS has agreed to pay for damages, but it's been over 2 months and no compensation for damages has been received. The last communication to me was on 8/17/24 stating the following: Once we receive the reference number and the contact details of the agent or adjuster, we will share them with you. September 2023: We purchased kitchen appliances from Best Buy. We had ****** ****, a Best Buy employee, come to our home to measure our countertop and cabinet dimensions before we purchased our appliances. Upon ******** confirmation the appliance would fit, we made the purchase. October 31, 2023. Dishwasher and stove delivery by *** (Innovative Freight Systems). Stove did not fit, ****** **** incorrectly measured the countertop and cabinet opening. The countertop was cut away to allow the new stove to fit. Feb 27, 2024: Refrigerator install date. The *** installation team wedged the refrigerator 3/4 of the way into the opening and the fridge got stuck. The tile flooring was damaged as the team tried to wedge the fridge into place. The install team damaged the refrigerator as they brought it into the house, they dropped the fridge and scratched it. ****** had incorrectly measured the opening, so the fridge didn't fit correctly. Feb 29, 2024: We received an email from Innovative Freight Systems giving us a claim number and asking for proof of the damage and estimates for repair. March 1, 2024: we received a phone call from a Geek Squad rep named *****, we did not get his last name. He referenced insurance claim number 4A2402V7B5P0001. March 4, 2024: **************** *************** *****************, cut away our countertop and base cabinet to free the refrigerator. $200 April 5, 2024: The new refrigerator was delivered and installed with no issues. Proof of damage was sent to *** on April 8, included estimates for repair. New base cabinet, new countertop, new tile flooring. Parts and install: $6,000.Additional calls and emails have never been returned.Initial Complaint

The full details of what transpired is included in the attachment entitled "Best Buy Claim". The short version is that the homeowner purchased a washer, dryer and pedestals from Best buy. Best buy used a third party company by the name of Innovative Freight Systems(IFS) to both deliver & install the washing machine, dryer and pedestals on 01/02/23. During the process, IFS damaged a brand new ceramic tile floor on the first floor laundry room while they were installing the delivered equipment. When a claim was filed against IFS for the damages, IFS said they would only pay for the damaged tiles. The homeowner explained to that she would not be able to get the exact replacement of those tiles due to the amount of time that has passed as well as that there was no guarantee that the non-damaged tiles would not be damaged in the replacement process and thus the whole floor needed to be replaced & provided a quote which is part of the attachments below along with photos of the damage as well. Since then IFS has chosen to make excuses claiming they either have not received the pictures so they can't proceed with the claim & been non-responsive for long periods of time. This has been going on since 01/02/23 and it has still not been resolved so the homeowner has had enough and wants to file a claim against Innovative Freight Systems (IFS) in order to hopefully get this situation resolved. The homeowner wants to be reimbursed for the cost of replacing the damaged ceramic tile floor which is $3,622.51 according to the estimate which is included in the attachments.
