    I brought a deer there on Oct 1st to be processed. They got it done in good time. A week later I opened up some packages of the ground up meat to make jerky. This is when I see how much fat they ground into the meat. I've never had any deer fat ever ground into the deer meat. There was a lot of fat in it. They took the thick nasty fat and ground it into the meat. I called and talked to Doug the butcher and he said it should have been ground twice so it was ground throughout all the meat. I asked why he cut off the fat and then ground the fat back into the meat. I also said the meat is ruined and tastes like crap, and super waxy. My wife and I spent 2 hours taking the fat out of that batch of jerky just to try it. It was terrible even with all the fat we got out. I have pictures and sent them to Doug, but he said all he can do is grind it a second time. I think this will make what meat might be good bad. Doug stopped answering my calls and texts. This is a butcher shop handling food. I wish I could post the pictures.
