      The washer squeals during the spin cycle since the May 2024 installation, Eventually, it worn down the inside plastic rim of the washer (see photo). An uneven, tilted drum is only part of the problem. The rim has been replaced and it still squeals. Moreover, I have been working directly with Alliance **************** for many months and have tried to work this issue up through their customer service system and been unsuccessful. Two repairman have deemed the washer unrepairable. One repairman that Alliance recommended refuses to work on it anymore as there is nothing further to be replaced or corrected. In addition, the dryer has started melting clothes as others have noted in their complaints. Alliance does not stand by their products or warranty. Since repairmen that are experts with Speed Queen systems deem it unrepairable and Alliance is unwilling to resolve the issue directly with me or the repairman, I am requesting a full refund. Photos of the damaged rim and audio videos with the squealing spin cycle have been provided to Speed Queen along with written documentation/emails documenting the defective equipment.

      Bought my set in October 2024, 2 weeks after our purchase the washer started squealing on the spin cycle. Speed queen has failed 6 times to dispatch repair companies to fix it. Today, it still squeals on the spin cycle and speed queen doesnt care.

      On December , 2024 Speed Queen/alliance laundry contacted me through a BBB to resolve my original complaint. Alliance Laundry (****) agreed in writing to exchange the original malfunctioning dryer with the original. They asked for the name of the company I bought it from and I did provide that. I was then told that I would be contacted within 5 business days to set up the delivery. I was never contacted. I emailed the company back twice asking for an update and my email was ignored/not replied ***** the past, if I called the company I was hung up on or received very rude replies from customer service. I am attempting to resolve this out of court one last time before I take legal action. (As I stated, I already have their agreement to exchange the dryer in writing)I am hoping to have this issue resolved immediately.

      this business continuously tells me they will resolve this issue. I have IN WRITING from the business stating that they will replace my expensive dryer.  After stating that they will resolve the issue, they go no contact, will not contact me for the next step and will not take my calls or email me back.  This is my last attempt to resolve this with them before I sue them.       We have persistent issues with purchased Speed Queen washer (TR7003) and dryer (DR7003). The washer isnt fully cleaning even normal/light use items leaving soiling and odors after fully washing. The dryer doesnt fully dry items even for extended dry times. These issues are similar to those reported by other users of these products.Below are relevant dates/actions by Speed Queen or authorized service technicians.4 April 2023 Purchase (7 year warranty)17 Jan 2024 Dryer: not drying. Technician found faulty heating element, replaced (w/ related items) on 23 Jan ******* June 2024 Washer: high pitched noise & not cleaning properly, technician found overheating motor & damaged drive belt, both replaced on 17 June 2024.Dryer: dryer not working properly, no resolution by technician.8 Oct 2024 Washer: soiling left on [normal wear] items, visibly dirty after cleaning, not spinning dry (saturated with water), foul odor with undrained water in tub, error message b5 (or 65); no resolution by technician.Dryer: dryer auto-sense feature not working properly. Items were very damp, requiring several drying cycles (3+ hours), no resolution by technician; set up directly with Speed Queen ticket #*******.16 Oct 2024 Washer: called Speed Queen Customer Support about continuing issues (lack of cleaning/smells on clothes, etc.). *** suggested reducing soap level, using Delicate vs ECO cycle, Extra Rise, heavier Soil ************ deep cleaning with vinegar. All techniques were implemented with no change or improvement in performance.2 Dec 2024 Washer: emailed Speed Queen Customer Support pictures of clothes not fully cleaned. Ticket #******* established by Speed Queen. Response: user error with same recommendations as Oct 2024. Again, no resolution or acceptance by Speed Queen. Summary: washer won't properly clean normal use clothes, with visible dirt & smells remaining on **************** has foul smell. Dryer requires exaggerated drying times & high power use.

      My clothes are melting in the dryer. We were told by the warranty service that the dryer vent is clogged to the outside, but it is not clogged at all. I want a refund.

      Warranty service providers are not owned or operated by Alliance Laundry Systems.  

      The concern with the dryer, as described by the servicer, does not stem from a failure attributable to either workmanship or the materials used in the appliance. Instead, it is related to specific circumstances that are explicitly identified in the "Exclusions" section of our ******************************** Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use and service but does not extend to conditions outside these parameters. Unfortunately, based on the nature of the problem described, the situation falls within these exclusions.

      I bought a speed queen dryer in 2022. I have already had to have the dryer worked on at least 5 times. The thermostat has been replaced at least 4 times. It is literally ruining our clothes and bedding. Speed Queen customer service will only repair even though this is a common issue I have learned with lots of customers. Even on lowest setting it is ruining our laundry. There should be a recall on these dryers

      Bought a Speed Queen machine in June of 2022 thinking it would last ********** didn't - broke down. I called service because it's still under warranty. They said they could send someone in a month. They sent someone, he didn't fix the problem, managed to get it going, but that didn't last. They need to stand by their product and make it right.

      Service man today said machine is unfixable. In the meantime, I am without a washer. This is quite inconvenient since I care for my mother with end stage dementia who is incontinent. We cannot go even a day without doing laundry. I bought a Speed Queen because they are supposed to last.

      We ordered a washer/dryer set in 2021. The first dryer delivered was defective and had to be swapped out. The second dryer (which is the source of our complaint) had problems from the start. It burned our clothes and household items like blankets. Many things have a grate imprint on them, which photos have been provided. It built up sharp material on the back grate which causes major damage to our clothing or towels. The dryer does not function as designed. The only way we have gotten by so long is if we give up and use "time dry" on low heat. There is no other setting that won't either burn our items or shut off with everything still wet. Even still, we have gray/black streaks on things like pillowcases and we have snags or full rips in certain things because of the build-up on the back grate which gets worse over time. When the material from the back grate melts onto our clothes, it does not come off. For example, if my sports bra gets this hardened sharp material, it is not possible to peel it off the fabric, thus is scratches my skin or I have to throw the item away. My teenagers are not allowed to use the dryer without oversight because we are concerned it is a fire hazard. This has not only been a fear for us (leaving it running while we are not at home) but hours and hours of our time have been wasted trying to get this dryer repaired. We have had an appliance repair person multiple times. Speed Queen either denies there is a problem (demand the tech runs dryer on one setting they dictate over the phone) or they authorize for the motherboard and all thermostats to be replaced. The back grate has now been replaced at least three times. They also blame our venting, which we have verified is not a problem. Recently the tech replaced the vent from dryer to wall, and that still did not fix the problems. This dryer is too expensive to simply throw away and Speed Queen needs to take accountability.

      We have had nothing but problems with our Speed Queen dryer. It has melted over a dozen pieces of clothing. It has gotten up to 350* on delicate. Your warranty repair man, ************* has now fixed the outlet cover, Inland Grill, Cycling thermostat, Lower AND upper control board, Flame switch, Rollers, Motor, Door switch, Blower wheel, Overlay so far with another part on order. We have been without a dryer for over a month, We have spent hundreds of dollars at the laundromat and lost hundreds of dollars on clothing. I want a full refund of $1339 for this dryer that we are lucky didn't burn our home down!
