I purchased a Speed Queen, washer and dryer set, top-of-the-line offered at ***********************, in **************, ***** on 1/9/2023. This washer and dryer set was supposed to have a seven year warranty. The washer has worked fine. However, the dryer I have had problems with since day one. Every load has to be run two or three times. I contacted speed queen about this ************ proceeded to give me a lot of grief about the ventilation. It had to be a rigid ventilation set up. I did that, and it still didnt work correctly. On 12/25/2024, The dryer made a clunk did an error code 66 and had a continuous beep. It was dead. I realize this is Christmas Day. I sent an email to the company on 12/26/2024 & explained the issue. There are no service tech listed in my area on their website. The closest was an hour away and they refused to come this far..Two days later, they got back to me about getting any Appliance repair person out to my home. I would have to pay that upfront and they would reimburse me. However, parts are not reimbursable. They need to be ordered directly from the company. Had an appointment with a local repairman who said that the belt had broken. I immediately contacted the company & told them to send a belt immediately. The response was, we will get that to you as soon as possible and send a tracking number for you. I know this is all around the ********** there are delays. However it has been several ******** still dont have a tracking number. I sent an email requesting the part number, I never got a response to that. I did a lot of research and found the part number and ordered it from ******. It was here in two days.I installed it myself today & my dryer is working OK-ish. As good as it ever has, but still two cycles for every load.Dont trust speed queens warranty. They dont honor it obviously. What a crappy company, I feel like I was told a story on how good these machines would be & I couldve spent far less on a new W/D set.Business Response

The only response I received was "Sorry for the delay. We know you will understand due to the holidays." This is unacceptable as there were several non-holiday days before receiving a response. . I have now received the belt, but as I stated before, I purchased my own and installed.I am out the money for the belt I purchased and the money I paid to have an appliance repair company diagnose the issue. They have not offered to reimburse these costs.

I purchased a washer and dryer set for $2561.23 from Speed Queen in July 2020 with a 7-year warranty for both parts and labor. The current washer that you sold me is defective. For the third time since purchasing the ****** has stopped working. The electronics on this washer appear to be poorly made. Im believe that my washer is a lemon and it was a mistake to purchase from Speed Queen.Even though you offer a seven-year warranty on this washer, your authorized repair company; ******** Appliance of ****************, is now charging me $119.00 for diagnosis. I have spoken to the following people at Alliance Support to try to get this issue resolved.****** from Alliance Customer Support was supposed to give me a call on December 18th, 2024.***** ****** from Alliance Customer Support assured me that this issue would be resolved on December 30th. It has not been resolved On December 30, 2024, I sent an email to **** ****** ******************************************* **** **** ***************************************** ****** ****** ****************************************** of Alliance asking for assistance on this issue. Purchased dryer in 2020. It is still under warranty. It is bringing my clothes. Service tech informed me the past is covered under warranty but it will keep happening. It is a known problem. I purchased a washer and dryer set for $2788.48 from Speed Queen in August 2023 with a 5-year warranty.From the very beginning, both the washer and dryer exhibited noise-related issues. In October 2023, I had a service technician come out to address a problem with the agitator bell in the washer, and I also emailed (on October 1, 2023) regarding a squeaking noise in the dryer. I specifically requested that the technician address both issues, and I was assured that Speed Queen was aware of and would handle both problems. However, despite this, only the washer issue was fixed, and the dryers squeaking ************ August 2024, it became evident that the dryer issue had not been resolved. We requested a repair for the dryer on August 27th, but that repair was ineffective. We then contacted Speed Queen again in September 2024, and a technician came out on September 17th. At that time, I was assured by a customer service representative that, should the repair attempt fail, our case would be escalated, and we would be eligible for a replacement of the dryer. On December 13, 2024, a technician came out for the fourth time. Four days after that visit, Speed Queen emailed me offering a check in the amount of $1040, which does not cover the cost of a new dryer, nor does it repair my current dryer. Furthermore, I would be required to sign a release voiding my warranty. I have requested three times, in writing, to speak to a member of the escalation team over the phone and have gotten no response to this request.We purchased Speed Queen machines specifically for their reputation for reliability and durability, and we chose to invest significantly more money than we had spent on our previous set. Yet, despite our substantial investment, these machines have failed to perform as expected, and we are left facing inconvenience, frustration, and additional *********** is clear that this machine is defective, and I believe I am entitled to a replacement.Business Response

I purchased a speed queen dryer and warranty. After purchase, I realized it was not working properly and requested repair. The first repairman said it was made improperly and replaced the part on the dryer. It broke again and another repairman fixed town more parts. It broke a 3rd time and he came back and replaced the control panel. It broke again and yet another company, *****, who contracted with Alliance laundry services sent out a repair man who could barely speak English. This repair man said the drier needed over 10 parts! Over a period of about 6 months, he attempted to repair the dryer over about 10 appointments. The last attempt, we used the dryer after repair and it caught on fire. We realized the repair man left wires handing out of it. We called and filed a complaint with Alliance laundry system warranty and were told they would replace the dryer. I was then contacted by a company representative who asked me irrelevant ************* question was why I used the dryer. another question was if the repair man told me not to use it? (He can't speak English.) I asked her/him what these questions had to do with the issue and she then said she was going to cancel my warrenty and terminate contact with me. When I asked to speak with her/his supervisor, she/he began sending me close up pictures of her/his face. ok? Why? Also, I could not get through to a supervisor and when I called the warranty line I was told that they are not allowed to talk to me.Business Response

We purchased our Speed Queen TR7 with our new house, Spring of 2018. Sadly, we've had one problem after another. Yes, they have been in warranty but now our warranty will expire soon and this machine should have been replaced. Speed Queen refuses to do anything at all. Here is the history of issues:- Replaced top control board 2 years ago.- Replaced the drain pump this summer.- Had to put commercial grade silicon lubricant around the bearings because it was making a hideous creaking sound during spin, a sound my technician said he had never heard before in 10+ years of service.- Replaced the bottom control board today.- Bad bearing now needs replaced, which is a 10+ year part (should be).Speed Queen won't replace the machine, even though it's under warranty. We purchased a speed queen washer in dryer a little over a year ago. We also purchased the warranty with them and have over ***** days left on it before it expires. Basically since we bought them we have had a problem with our dryer burning our plush blankets. The blankets appeared to almost catch on fire. They had black burn marks on them. It has also ruined several other pieces of clothing. We called the store we bought them from and they came out on a couple of different occasions, but the problem was never fixed. They suggested we just dry on low heat only. We did that for quite awhile but ended up with more burnt covers. We have pictures of the burn marks and showed them to Speed Queen. Speed Queen at first suggested it was our venting. Eventually the store called Speed Queen and they told the store that we needed to contact them. They sent out a technician and he checked the heat on the dryer and he stated it all checked out. He said it wasn't a venting problem. He called someone from Speed Queen while he was at our house and we could hear the conversation. The engineer or whoever he called stated we were overloading our dryer. After the Technician left the house we called the Speed Queen customer support. The employee we dealt with said he read the technicians report and it was a customer problem not a ********************** problem. I advised them I just wanted a new dryer or my money back. He stated it wasn't there problem and he could only go by the technician's report. Speed Queen is untrustworthy and doesn't honor its product. My dryer has several buttons on it but I can only use one and at times that will still burn my plush blankets. They suggested I dry on air dry only. That is absolutely ridiculous. I bought what I thought was going to be a top of the line dryer that would last me years. I am now in fear of it burning my house down. Their customer service basically told me they couldn't help me and I needed to deal with it.Business Response

Warranty repair on unit on October 25th in ******** we moved to ************** on 26th with wash machine and new issue detected. Contacted Speed Queen right away scheduled contractor in area he never showed up and I took the day off work.Contacted contractor he says waiting on Speed Queen to deliver part 7-10 business days never **************** Speed Queen several more times they have it recorded with no results.Finally get news thus week all is a go and contractor be here today November 22nd from 12-7 again a no show we contacted and heard nothing again missed another day work.Spent up to $300 at laundry mat and missed time off work numerous phone calls to supoort team wated weekends at laundromat with broke expensive machine at home and no action taken my machine still broke under warranty I purchased.Lies Lies Lies and a brike machine!! Purchased a brand new washer and dryer from a retail store in *************, **************. The washing machine originally was delivered with no visible issues other than the delivery people forgot to take out the bar inside so that the barrel will spin when washer was tested. It actually bounced across the floor. I called the store and they advised To turn off and they sent out a tech to remove. I attempted to use the washer to wash two womens bathing suits Only for water to leak out all over my floor. I stopped the washer took out the bathing suits and a few additional times and the leak became worse. Dons Appliance as well as speed queen, who advised they will repair it but they will not give me a new one. This is troublesome since it is a brand new washing machine and has never been used. It should not be causing water damage the reason for my purchase of this machine was due to a washer that malfunctioned and flooded my house, causing a huge insurance claim, advise me that they will not replace or return the washer as it needs to be repaired if repairable. I was told by Dons Appliance that if the washer leaks again after repair, they can go back to them to see if they will replace however they more than likely will only repair again troublesome because if Im not home, Im going to have water damage to my home all over again. It has been confirmed by one of our technical support leaders, that the issue at hand is not a malfunction of the machine but rather an installation issue done by a 3rd party installer-not an associate of Alliance Laundry Systems.Business Response

Our warranty does not offer provision for exchange. Our technical support leader has given the customer direction as to how to correct the issue. It has to do with installing a coinbox/coin slide on the machine - The consumer was not happy that they had to take their time and effort to correct the installers mistake.
