      Washing machine sold as top-of-the-line in 2023 with a 5-year warranty.Lid locks with a full laundry load. on July 2nd. Getting someone on Speed Queens' authorized list is almost impossible. Three services will not handle warranty work. ************* ****************** will not answer the phone I have a tub of wet towels and laundry, and I can't spin or open the lid lock.Very unhappy with the name brand chosen. Today's date is July 15 with tub of wash in water. .

      Re: Speed Queen TR3003WN 3.2 cu ft Top Load My washer is 2 years old and from the 1st wash, I was sorely disappointed to find out that the normal swish swish swish swish rapid agitator no longer exists. The agitator goes swish--------swish-------swish so slow it doesn't clean the clothes. I have (on many occasions) after pulling my clothes out of the dryer, thrown them back in the washer a second time because my laundry smells like dirty socks. I have to put in twice the amount of soap and use twice as much water so that my clothes don't stink. The fact that they don't allow you to run water and put soap in, and force lock the top so you can't get back in there is terrible. When you call Speed Queen all they tell you is government regulations makes them do that. We'll the government don't make washers and dryers, so they have no business forcing their regulations onto the manufacturer to make low quality products. To pay an exorbitant amount of money for a washer that doesn't work is criminal. How do they sleep at night?? Do not buy a Speed Queen 3000 series washer. You will be sorely disappointed upon the first wash. Hands down, this is the poorest quality washer I have ever owned in 40 years (and they tell me it may only run 5-7 years)! Never did I ever think Speed Queen would sink to such low levels.

      All I know is that we spent $1,500 on a Speed Queen TR7 washer in 2024 and it is AWFUL. We thought we were purchasing a top-of-the-line product when we replaced our ****** ******* but let me tell you, that ******* cleaned our clothes 1000 times better than this Speed Queen does. The SQ may be durable but the actual wash quality is beyond terrible. We are so disappointed and wish we had never bought it.

      Bought TR5 washer&dryer 1 month ago. HATE IT! I'd give anything to have my ~30 year old ****** back. VERY POOR lint filtration in dryer. Lint accumulates all around seal on door and behind "screen" on lower part of door. Filter inside dryer drum INADEQUATE. Lint forms in crevices outside the filter & is difficult to remove. I clean my filter each cycle & still LINT accumates in places it shouldn't-even when installed filter isn't full. Hence clothes have excessive lint. Now the washer .... you have to "trick" the settings to get a standalone rinse & spin. You have to select an "extra rinse" wash cycle even though you aren't running a wash cycle & then select the "spin" option to get a rinse&spin. Some genius engineering/programming!! There is no lint filter in the washer so the design is to have water flow push the lint DOWN YOUR DRAIN. Clogged pipes anyone?? On my old ****** there was often a LOT of lint caught in the washer lint filter. Now that lint is clogging my drains. I am a single senior so can you imagine results for a large family? Now, let's discuss water levels. I bought this duo because I wanted to control my own water levels. You do get a choice of small or large. I quote from manual "small accomodates 1-2 permanent press dress shirts OR 2 pillowcases OR 1 lightweight dress"! No choices between small & large load! You are advised NOT TO WASH anything that is "puffy", eg, pillows, comforters, jackets, etc. I will update as I encounter more reasons why I hate this washer/dryer.

      My dryer is burning my clothing been working with the now twice within a year well now they have had all my info and i keep getting told 3 more days every time I call.. getting no where! Asked to take to a supervisor and told that that cannot transfer my call their phones dont allow!! My dryer is burning my clothing its been serviced and still burns them now the star shuts off when I have it on low heat and the light is broken since there repair guy was here! Speed queen doesnt care jut get the run around everyday!

      Brand new dryer! Screeching noise. 3 repairmen have come out. *** ******* Appliance wont give us a new one bc they say Speed Queen wont let them. Disappointing.

      Speed queen TC5 washer purchased 11/24. Foam (soap suds) coming from drain pipe during spin cycle. Told by SQ and repair tech to perform white vinegar maintenance run; told not to use ECO cycle; minimizing HE laundry soap. This machine, though SQ will not say there is a defect, has a Defect that is being covered up. A class action suit is needed! The internet is full of people complaining on this sudsing issue with a very expensive washer! Only solution- white vinegar!

      I am near the end of my 5 year warranty (major reason I purchased it)on the stackable W/D SF7000WE. This is, BY FAR, the worst purchase of my life, and Im 71. Currently I have a load of wet towels sitting in this nightmare of a washer. We are part-time residents in a condo, so the actual life of this machine is 2-2 1/2 years. When it works, its wonderful. *** had only warranty service companies for countless repairs, Speed Queen has all the records. Nearly every part that can be replaced has been done. There is something wrong with the computer , I think a short somewhere. I set the cycle, the light blinks, and I get ****** I unplug it to reset, and do it all over again. Its the same issue Ive had for 5 years!!!!!! Ive been trying to start it since 7:30 AM, and its 1:15 now. At least 15 times Ive unplugged and started over.nothing but ****** Ive contacted Speed Queen, got a letter 2 weeks ago apologizing for my troubles and offering a prorated rebate of $600. I paid nearly $3300 for a machine thats supposed to outlive ME!!! Beyond poor offer, from supposedly the best washing machine manufacturer? Give me a break!!!!! I see other identical complaints online.Something need to be done. Buyer BEWARE, this is not the Speed Queen company that deserves its former reputation. Its by far THE WORST Ive ever had, and they are not standing by their product. This is from ******:Alliance Laundry Systems owns Speed Queen: Speed Queen is an independent brand with its own manufacturing facilities. The first Speed Queen laundry machine was built in *****, ********* in 1908, and the company's headquarters are still there. Speed Queen washers are known for their durability and are designed to last 2025 years. Total BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      I bought a speed queen washer and dryer almost 3 years ago and they are the worse. I have been dealing with speed queen and the appliance store I got it from since February with no resolution. Its under warranty and every time they work on it it gets worse I just want it replaced so I can was clothes.

      I bought the TC5 speed queen about 2 months ago and it has so far been the worst decision! After I wash my clothes there are spots being left in the drum! I have tried everything to get them out! I called speed queen and they are trying to say it is the detergent. Ummm if its the detergent then that is a major flaw in your washers! My mom has a speed queen and uses the same detergent and has never had these spots. The store where I bought the speed queen is in total shock over speed queens lack of customer service. The salesman believes it is a defect with my washer. Speed Queen wont even send someone to come look at it! They is telling me that I need to soak the drum in vinegar and baking soda. Am I expected to do this after each time I wash a load of laundry?! That is absurd! So so so so disappointed! DO NOT BUY SPPED QUEEN!
