      I will never go to a Shopko optical again. Worst experience of my life. I had a total of 3 different pairs of glasses made and had my eyes checked twice. When I had my second eye exam the doctor agreed with the first doctor. prescription. I still knew something wasn't right with the prescription. Things were sometimes blurry and I could not watch tv and wear them at all. The people at the Shopko were continuously rude to me and I refused to go back to be treated like that so I have just been wearing these glasses for a year. I recently started getting bad headaches and decided it was time to go to a real eye doctor. I went to **** Optical and they told me the prescription that Shopko gave me was totally off in my left eye! I'm so angry that Shopko took almost $500.00 of my money and after two exams and three pairs of glasses gave me a big $50.00 back for all the hassle and it still wasn't right. I'm sure wearing the incorrect prescription was not healthy for my eyes. They do not have people on their staff that know what they are doing. I would like my money back!

      I purchased my glasses two years ago and went back to the store three times saying they didnt fit and they kept telling me I had to get used to them so I gave up. This year when I had my eye exam last week, I brought the glasses with and they said the glasses were made with the wrong prescription and it was their error so they would talk to the manager on Wednesday when she came in. All they are offering is 10% off the new lenses even though its their error and they admitted its their error. This has happened before and also to 2 members of my family. honestly this should never happen. Now to get glasses that I can see out of they expect me to pay $500 again for the lenses. This is so wrong!!

      The ******, ** location will not let me order my contacts! I've called them and left messages 4 times now over the last two weeks. No call back and they never answer phone during office hours. I got the updated prescription from them now I just want to order them so I can see! I guess I have to find somewhere else to take my rx.

      I purchased new glasses in June of 2023, l paid over $500.00 out of pocket. I picked them up and was never fitted, went back three times and they still didn't fit correctly. Fast forward to Christmas of 2023, I was retrieving a screwdriver from a box and my lense got tapped by another screwdriver. I noticed a crack in my lense. I was told I would have to buy another lense for over $400. No warranty! I always buy warranties, I was never offered a warranty. Believe me when I buy $500 glasses, I will buy a warranty. I had poor service and felt like I was just another sale. In the past, I have had excellent service with Shopko optical. Very disappointed with my experience.

      SO *****..AT Shopko optical told me I had to keep my non verbal son from squeeling because it's a medical place. He was playing with his brother there is no other people in here I'm fuming I asked her if she knew what not verbal meant and he wasn't bothering anyone she just kept repeating he needed to be quiet or leave and walked away. Wouldn't even look at me just kept telling my older son ***** to keep him quiet...I tried explaining to her what non verbal ment and she ignored me. We were there over an hour waiting on the exam to be done. Later a different employee who stated she just got there tried to apologize for *****. Not ok I feel my son was discriminated and I never want another mom or child to feel that way. That employee needs to find another job.needless to day I did not spend the 300 plus dollars I was planning on for my sons new safety glasses and glasses with sunglasses. I will take my business elsewhere.

      1/4/24 We've been with Shopko optical for 30 years - but now we're done. Something is wrong.Recently, when I ordered a pair, the wrong prescription was submitted, for which I was told "to wear them for a while and get used to them." After visiting a different Shopko, I learned it was the wrong prescription.Three weeks later, I picked up the new progressive/transition pair and a pair of sunglasses, totaling approximately $1200+. Both are better than nothing, but I have to constantly search for a sweet spot to see clearly. Out of frustration, I reverted back to my old glasses and went to an independent optometrist.Without explaining my story, only giving them the prescription script, the technician asked if I could see alright with my old glasses. She could tell just by holding them up - it was a poor quality of technology. I placed a new order.This fall, my husband had his new glasses repaired 3 times in 2 months - due to cracking lenses. Shopko did replace the lenses, but when he asked for more fit adjustments, he was told one of his eyes and his nose were slightly higher on one side. His fault - no cure! That's crazy.We never expected this of Shopko Optical. Something changed, and now we know better. ***

      I was called by ShopKo optical in ******** ******** and told the glasses I had ordered were ready to pick up. A couple days later on a Friday I went to pick them up. When I got there they brought out one of the two pairs of glasses I had purchased. I asked about the 2nd pair and the employee did not even know about them and said oh the pair he had was the only one there and they were not sure when the. other pair would be in. I am upset as I had to drive over 40 miles and an hour of driving time and it appeared it was no big deal that I would have to do it again to get my second pair. This is a waste of my valuable time and gas and I am forced to do it again as there is no guarantee they will fit properly if mailed to me as I had to have the pair they had adjusted. For an established business from which customers frequently purchase more than one pair of glasses this should never happen! Someone is not performing their most basic duties for their position and there is NO resemblance of customer service being provided. 0 STARS FOR basic customer service!

      I would never ever go there again. Had my eyes checked on Oct 17th and now its Dec 15th. They did two eye exams and 3 different remakes on my glasses. The first one was .75 to strong on my left eye and .25 to strong on my right eye. The second exam now i cant see anything its all a blur. I'm not sure you even have any qualified staff to perform a service to the public. Worse experience of my life!!! I asked for a refund and they told me I'll have to wait to talk to a manager at a later date. I ordered two pairs of glasses, one pair was prescription and one was prescription sunglasses. It was almost $1300.00 dollars for the two pairs! The most expensive mistake i ever made for such a poor establishment. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! You need better trained staff on how to do eye exams!

We will be addressing these concerns with the manager and the team. We have refunded his glasses and also will be refunding the exam back to the insurance company so that the benefit can be reinstated.

      I had a problem with my old Shopco glasses maybe delaminating. I went in for new glasses and I was assured my new glasses would not have this problem. When I picked up my new glasses they informed me that I only have a 30 day warranty. Anyhow at 3.5 months the new glasses were delaminating worse than the old ones. I complained but no you have no complaint because you are past 30 days. Manager wasn't in so I left my number but manager never called me. I should of been informed about change in guarantee before committing to buying new glasses but was not told until I picked them up which was too late. Even with insurance I paid $350 out of pocket. A friend who didn't have insurance went to Walmart and paid $250 and his glasses are fine. I basically feel cheated because I have to go somewhere else and pay all over again for new glasses! That is wrong!

      Ordered my glasses took over two weeks to get them in then when they finally came in they were the wrong prescription so they were going to rush order anther pair well a week later they call and say something broke at the lab my glasses will be delayed until they get things fixed kinda ***** my old glasses are broke so Im trying to see through them side ways getting headaches not to happy with shopko optical
