I paid almost $400 for a pair of glasses that broke within a week. The manager replaced them. Within two weeks they broke again and they gave me a used pair of frames that had been returned because there was an issue with them. Within a month they broke. The second time my glasses broke I was never offered my money back. So now I have to use my old glasses because I cannot afford to pay for new frames. Im extremely disappointed I was never offered my money back. I didnt even know this was an option. I will never purchase a pair of glasses from there again. I wasted a lot of money on poorly made, overpriced frames. Im considering not even going there for eye exams and contacts anymore.Shopko Optical

On 10/11/23 I spoke with ******* and apologized for the issues she has experienced with her glasses. I let her know that I would authorize a one time replacement with a new frame. The manager at the ******* location will be n touch to coordinate a time to help her pick out a new frame and then reorder new lenses and frame at no charge.Review fromMiranda B

HORRIBLE! ZERO STARS Cant fit the full story of what occurred only the ending. This happened September 22nd 2023 at 5:15pm . Red head lady, did not see her name. This lady was not happy that we returned, i explained they wouldnt close because they were over tightened & still sliding off his face. She took the glasses, forced the arm down, i said you just forced them closed. She began opening and forcing them closed continuously while staring at me, she then walked away with the glasses, we went to sit down, after 2min she came back by us, the glasses where all bent, now sitting crooked on my sons face, she began bending the arm metal that attaches them to the frame. I was shocked she continued, until i said she needed to stop or she would break them, she said this is how its done, with an attitude. She told me i can take them somewhere else to be fixed, i replied we would, taking the glasses. We left, my son cant wear his glasses, she bent them so much they sit sideways on his face. Im appalled shopko has such devious staff, who intentionally damage customers property! I did nothing to this women, other then ask her to adjust my sons glasses, this is her job! Shopko certainly isnt going to fix my sons glasses if she were to break them. Now im left with a bigger problem of getting brand new glasses costing over $500 out of pocket becauae no insurance, fixed!Shopko Optical

On 10/11, I spoke with ******* and apologized for the service she received with her son's eyeglasses. Due to the concerns with the frame, we will be ordering a new one at no charge from our lab. These typically take a few working days to arrive. We are also working on submitting a claim on the eyeglasses for reimbursement from his insurance plan.Review fromMary P

Watch your pricing ... ??????? I would not mind but the prescription is wrong. Everything is still blurry.. whatever.. I physically have a pair of glasses. I'm going to Target to purchase a pair of reading glasses for 20 bucks.Shopko Optical

Ordered a pair of glasses 2 weeks ago from the **********, ** location. They came in with a scratched lens and the frames were so bent I was surprised they were able to straighten them. They did order a replacement lens. However, something was wrong with that lens too. As soon as I put them on after the new lens was put in both of my eyes felt like they were being pulled crossed eyed, which was very painful and nothing was in focus. The technician said the prescription was correct. Spouting he knows optics, etc. Basically calling me a liar and then surprised that I was so upset. I had them put the original scratched lens back in and, surprise, no problems with vision. I can see fine except for the scratch. No cross eyed feeling and no pain. Demanded they reorder both lenses this time. So, waiting again now going into week 3 without much faith it will be any better. I paid upwards of $500 up front and have yet to receive an acceptable product. Meanwhile, the clock is running out on their 30 day guarantee. I've been getting my glasses at Shopko for over 20 years. However, since they were bought out the service has been substandard and the quality of the frames is very poor and they should be ashamed of their customer service. Frankly, I don't know how they can justify their prices. I will never recommend them to anyone.Shopko Optical

The eye exam was done professionally and accurately. That would rate a 5 star, but it went downhill from there.Buying glasses should not be like buying a used car and a little upsell is expected but they were relentless. I finally spent an additional $25.00 just to get out of the store. Then the billing came. they billed the insurance company under the wrong code, so I got billed for an additional $69.99. After 3 attempts and absolutely no cooperation from them I gave up and paid.Needless to say, they won't be getting any referrals from me.Shopko Optical

Horrible customer service in the ****** location, I had my prescription for my safety glasses via mobile and they said they cant take it or print it off. Then then they had my office fax it and they didnt get a fax or let me know they didnt get it. All this for a simple prescription that I had. Worst customer service I ever had. I had virtual exam and it was a disaster! Wrong lenses, glasses came in and I hated them rt away, frames were falling apart within days of purchase, I returned 7X within the 30 days with little to no help 32nd day they wouldnt refund me. After a bad attitude they allowed me to pick new frames and said they would be ready for pickup in 7 days, 32 days later I called and they forgot to order them. Said they would be in in 7 days, lenses were the frames r nowhere to be found. Im done! What a jokeShopko Optical

I bought glasses from Shopko in ******************* ** in March 2022. I had a virtual exam and when I got the glasses, I had problems focusing. After a couple weeks of trying to acclimate, I returned. I was given an office exam and my prescription was changed, so I had to leave the glasses. About 4 days later I got a call that they are ready, but when I got to the store they did not find them and concluded it was an error. The next day they were there and I picked them up. After 3 months of part-time use, a s**** fell out of the frame hinge so I went to the store and had it repaired with little problem. Now 13 months after my initial visit and botched virtual exam, the hinge came apart and can't be repaired. I was told that the glasses are out of warranty and I need to buy new. I will be buying new, but not here. I have already wasted over $400 here. Go Somewhere else for your need!!!!Shopko Optical

When I purchased my glasses at Shopco optical in ********** **. I asked and was told that there was a 1 year garrantee against scratching on the lenses. After 8 months I inquired about getting new lenses and was told there's no such warranty. Every pair of glasses I ever had before going Shopco had that warranty so that's why I asked specifically. I guess lying to the customer is your company policy. I will not be recommending your company. One and Done!Shopko Optical
