    The ****** WI Anytime Fitness is not customer focused or customer friendly. After having been a paying customer for more than 10 years, I decided to not renew my contract going forward. I met with one on the club managers prior to the contract ending date (as required in the contract) to let them know that I will not be renewing my membership. I thought I had fulfilled my contract obligations. Apparently Not! The following month after my cancellation, my checking account was still direct paying the bi-monthly dues to Anytime Fitness. I called them to find out what was going on. They referred me to their “Third Party Billing Company” *** *********. I called them to stop taking money from my checking account. They did not. I then met with my local banker at *** ******** **** in ******. They put a stop to allowing automatic withdrawals from *** *********. You would think this ordeal was over — Right? Nope! I then turned to the ** ********** ** *** ***** *** ******** ********** and filed a complaint. The ***** took up my case and through email correspondence with Anytime Fitness, seemingly had resolved my dispute. You would think this ordeal was the over — Right? OH NO NOT OVER YET!!! No I’m dealing with a Collection Agency still trying to collect money from my canceled contract. Here’s the bottom line: The club is clean, has nice equipment and is local for ****** residents (over 10 years as a member). The management staff are either incompetent or just don’t care about you as a customer. My recommendation: If you join the ****** Anytime Fitness business DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO USE AUTOMATIC DEDUCTION FROM ANY OF YOUR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS. Be smart and take this recommendation seriously. Sincerely,****** ***
