  United Regions Van Lines has always been a reliable company to work with and my family has been a regular customer for years. This was the first time that I personally hired them as I was moving out of the house I grew up in (in Texas) to Salem, OR for my first job. Two of the movers of the 3-man team were people we have hired a couple of times before so it was like having friends helping me move. They were done within a couple of hours since it was just my personal things being moved. I plan to hire United Regions Van Lines again.

  Initially I spoke with Phillip who provided the information I needed regarding my move from Northern Virginia to Georgia. My condo was sold so I needed to vacate but had not yet decided to buy or rent. He advised me to store my belongings at their facility, find a storage facility in Georgia and then start the process of moving to storage in Georgia. Two packers showed up on packing day. I was thoroughly impressed with how they handled my belongings, packed the boxes and loaded the truck. They wrapped my furniture as if they were gifts! They were efficient and truly did an amazing job. They advised me what size storage unit I will need. They also gave me a tentative date to transport to Georgia. I have no doubt my belongings will be loaded on the truck again and unloaded again in Georgia with the same care. I would definitely recommend this company.   Apart from the great work United Regions Van Lines did with my move, let me just add a little anecdote to illustrate how good company this actually is. After they had completed my move from S Carolina to Pennsylvania and I had paid them, the truck left. I got a call 2 hours later from them telling me that I had left my spectacles in the truck. Because they were 2 hours away, it was impossible to drive back just for that. Instead, they left the glasses at their local office and one of the office people delivered it to my hands a few days later, no charge. Others might not have gone through all this trouble for such a small thing. I am a lifelong fan now.

  No other moving company has been able to do as thorough and as flawless a job as United Regions Van Lines has for both my past 2 moves. We were moving this time from Philadelphia, PA to Akron, OH and hired them to handle the move of most of the things into our new home but also to move part of the furniture into a friend’s new home. United Regions Van Lines was able to complete the job without any errors. It was no small job considering there were 6 of us living in a 5 bedroom home.   Run. Lies. They said they owed all their trucks lie, they dont use contractors .lie, everything was included . Lie. Our furniture would be delivered on a certain date. Lie. They bait and switch on the prices. They said they would move all the boxes inside to the rooms you want . Lie. Over 80% of our boxes were ripped, or broken. Furniture with broken legs off. Lots of broken items. They just threw our stuff around like it was junk. They left all our boxes outside in the heat, which we had to bring in . They used contractors, they showed up with an enterprise rental van, they charged us 5$ for each roll of tape ( over 125$) worth. A nightmare.

  This was my first moving experience with United Regions Van Lines but it certainly will not be my last. Their work was really a huge cut above other companies that I have hired in terms of speed and reliability. They gave me a quote that they stuck with, no hidden extras tacked on at the end. They also stuck to the schedule that they had given me, which was really the first time any movers have been able to achieve that for me. The moving crew was well behaved and seemed to know their job very well. I would hire this company again.

  United Regions destroyed everything my 83 yr old mother held dear, her wedding china, keepsakes from her parents/grandparents. Mom's a careful packer and has moved many times in her life with no problems. Until this. United Regions charged $6600 to move her 2 bedrm condo from Walnut Creek CA to Bend OR in July 2022. They delayed both pick up and delivery. And in the process have caused $1000s worth of damage. She is heartbroken and there is nothing I can do for her. I should've checked them out!!!   Still one of the most affordable movers in the United States. I just hired them again after about 2 years and they have proven themselves to be very consistent in terms of the quality of their work. I can still rely on them to be as punctual as they were before and their staff is a delight to interact with. When you have a problem, they are eager to help and will follow through until its resolved. Very reliable.
