This "company" appears to be using the name of a legitimate company, EMA Auto Transport LLC in Waukesha, WI, although the address, phone and website are different. BBB believes this company is operating a vehicle transport/escrow scam. For more information about this type of scam, CLICK HERE. 

Please note: This "company's" website, https://ematransport.com/, was created on 11/5/2021, despite the claim on its website that it has "17 years of experience." As of 11/30/2021, the website https://ematransport.com/ is down.

This "company" first came to BBB's attention on 11/9/2021 after a consumer reported via BBB Scamtracker that he had attempted to purchase a food truck at far below its estimated value, and was told that this "company" would handle the transport and escrow for the vehicle. In this type of scam, neither the vehicle nor the escrow company exist, and any money transferred by the buyer will be lost.
