On 4-16-23 I visited the Good Feet Store in ***********, ** to see if they could help with my right foot and ankle pain that I have been living with since November 2022. My family Dr. told me that I had planter fasciitis. The associate could relate to my pain because she suffered from the same pain, which now I believe it's a sales tactic. The associate then had me remove my shoes and socks and stand on carbon paper. She took the 2 dimensional print and went in the back of the store where she grabbed 4 sets of "custom" orthotics. These are not custom made per customer. There was no verification that these orthotics would correct my issues. Good feet deceives people into believing that they are custom fit orthotics. How can this be with only a 2 dimensional print of my feet? I told the associate that it was only my right foot that needed the help but she insisted that both feet needed these orthotics. After trying all 4 pairs and changing a few pairs and complaining multiple times that both of my feet were hurting more, she said it was normal and it will get better. The associate proceeded to let me pick out 2 pairs of "free" socks and slippers while she rang up the orthotics. $2,200 was the total elite protection package! There was no other package to fit my needs. Out of complete desperation I decided to give these a try. I had worn the 4 part system as she stated for 5 days, during these 5 days I could not walk at work or at home. I felt sick to my stomach the amount of pain I was feeling. My feet and ankles were swollen beyond what I have ever seen, they hurt to put any pressure on them and throbbed when I was sitting down or laying in bed. I have talked to the Good Feet store 3 times and have voiced my serious issues and how uncomfortable I am doing my daily activities wearing their orthotics. I have asked each time for a refund. I have made an appointment with an actual podiatrist to access my right foot and find custom orthotics.

On 04/10/2023, my husband and I went into the Good Feet store with the thought of buying shoes. We told the salesman that we were in the wrong place and was just looking for shoes. He assured us we were in the right place and began the "pitch". After an hour of walking in these insoles I was convinced this was my solution to relieve my foot and back pain. I explained to him that I work and on my feet ***** hrs a day. He picked out the compression socks for me, that I had no idea I was being charged for because I never asked for them. Once everything was rang up the total was $2,085.50 We told him that wasn't something we could afford and would need to do something else. The associate then came up with a solution. We could be on a payment plan. He also said we would be credited a military discount an be able to use our tax exemt status. Hindsight that was all a lie. To our surprise he applied us for a credit card through CareCredit. We thought this was a plan set up through the store. Moving on I absolutely cannot wear these insoles. Four days of wearing them and following the instructions to the tee, I had to call out from work because I could barely stand on my own two feet. I went to look at the paperwork to see it said all sales final, this was not stated before the transaction only after on the invoice. I need help with getting out of this. I can't pay for something that causes me so much pain.

On Mar 28, **** my husband took me to this store wanting to help me with chronic plantar faciitis in my right foot. He begged me to have an open mind so I already was set up to be non-reactive. Upon meeting the sales clerk I was immediately told that my foot would Never heal. I was aghast and said, Never? The clerk said emphatically, Never! I was feeling quite numb. The clerk proceeded to fit my inserts and have me walk around. We asked the price and were told between $150-400. That was a lot more than I was prepared to spend but I thought maybe this will help my foot. At this point I had No idea that he was going to sell me 4 of these inserts and that I had to pay $99 for a guarantee. He did repeat several times that the insert had a lifetime guarantee but said nothing about a signed contract and that I had to pay $99 for it. By the time I was sitting in my car in complete shock and confusion, I had signed a paper that turned out to be a contract and my CC had been charged over $2,400. The worst part is that the inserts that I kept trying for about 4 days have made my foot So Much Worse. I have contacted 3 representatives of this company, yet after two weeks I have no resolution.

I got arch supports in September 2022. My feet were in pain and I was thinking that it needed to be broken in. I tried to break them in but it never improved. I went back to the store a couple times for replacement arch supports but they did not help. I was under the impression that they would resolve my issue and if not, would receive a refund of some kind. After I went to podiatrist, I was instructed to cease wearing the arch supports and my feet improved overnight. I contacted GoodFeet via email and have not received a response to my request of a full/partial refund. I feel ripped off and if I had known this would happen, would never have given my hard earned money for this useless product. I'm sure it worked for others but it did not work for me-I spent over **** on 6 plastic arch supports. I would be satisfied with a refund of some sort.

On March 3rd I went to the Good Feet Store in ************* ***** seeking help with foot pain. My salesperson, ****, took a carbon copy of my feet went into the back room and came out with products in boxes. These inserts were not something made just for my feet but their website says they are "orthotics experts." **** let me try all the different products she brought out in the store. None felt good but I assumed I good try them out at home and decide which one would work for me. NOTHING IN THE STORE HAD A PRICE TAG ON IT. I later learned you can buy just one orthotic and not the whole system. Socks and innersoles where also added not at my direction. I was given a lot of paperwork with scheduling on it -- I was told I could bring them back because I purchased the Elite Protection Plan. My credit card was already charged by the time she brought my Purchase Order #QS005884 to me to sign. THERE WAS NO MENTION OF ALL SALES WERE FINAL. MARCH 14 OR 15 I received a call from **** and told her I wasn't satified with their product and wanted to return them to their store. She suggested I come back let them readjust the orthotics. I returned to the Woodllands store and ****** waited on me and once again said they could not be returned only refitted. The orthotics were difficult to wear let alone trying to wear 4 differents orthotics a day! I am not happy with their product and felt I was tricked into buying such a expensive solution for my feet pain.Thank you for your consideration.

I paid over $500 for inserts for my shoes with the promise that my feet wouldn't hurt anymore. ******* reassued me that I wouldn't have a problem standing the 5 hours a day that I stand with her insoles. I wore them for a day and by the end of the day my feet felt worse then when I started. She reassured me that I needed to try them for a week and I tried. I lasted 4 days and by the end of the 4th day I couldn't stand up, my feet hurt so bad. She asked me to come in and let her switch them out, she said we can keep trying to we find the right pair. That's easy for her to say, she isn't the one in excruciating pain just standing. I said I don't think I could go thru this with another pair over and over, that I just wanted my money back they didn't do what she promised they would do, in fact they made my feet a lot worse. I just want my $500 back and they can take their insoles because they caused more pain than helped with the pain.

On 2/20/22 I went to Good Feet store in ************ ** & explained I had lower hip area pain that started about 1 month ago. The associates assured we they could help. I went through a write up and a step test (one step for 2each foot) and the associate explained to me that my pain we being caused by the weight I was putting on my right foot and that they had a solution for me. I tried on 2 inserts the strengthener and the maintainer. I walked about 10 15 steps-in these @ store and they felt good & he explained to me that I would wear the strengthener 2 or hours per day and then do thee maintainer He said the strengthener would reduce the pain the most but over time, I would be able to only wear the maintainer and feel no pain. He also stated that while they have a 3rd insert I would not need and he would not sell me anything I did not need. He told me the priced for both were $1100. I was a little surprised but said, what choose do I have, I dont want to live with this pain. He then told me how these were guaranteed and I could come back anytime and get new ones if needed etc He explained in detail, that in time I would again not need the strengthener insert, but if the pain did come back, I should go back to using it 2 hours or so a day till the pain went away. He was confident this was the solution and never mentioned it may not help. He also stated he was giving me 3 foam inserts & when I got home I realized I had to pay $200 for guarantee and not explained to me and in paid $150 for the 3 foam insertswhich I was very surprised was not explained as a separate cost. I did noticed that there was a sign , behind the register, that stated all sales are final and exchanges up to 90 day. I thought that seemed weird, but hoping this was the solution to my pain, I proceeded. I followed his instructions to the letter for the first 3 or 4 days no real changes started off the same feeling about the same,. Sometime no pain, but I was noticing that when I stood still for any period of time, with these on, I did feel the pain start coming on. The 3 or so days. I noticed that walking and standing I was feeling more and more pain. By Saturday the pain so bad that I finally removed the inserts . I tried again for a little while on Sunday, but I still had sever pain by now and by Monday morning I made a Doctors appointment. I called the store Monday and explained this and he offered to look at the inserts and seemed surprised these were not helping and in fact I explained how the pain got worse after wearing these. I then inquired, that while I did read there sign that all sales were final, I wanted to know if there were any exceptions even with some type of return feeas I am not comfortable wearing these and they did not help like they said they would. When I inquired on any exception for any type of refund, he stated he was pretty sure that answer was no but he wanted to check and get right back to me, that has never occurred. I do feel that I was sold very much on the fact that these would be a solution and they are not (and my Dr confirmed that as well today) and while I should have read the receipt better, their sales practices , to me, are misleading in letting you think their product is guarantee but make no mention that you have to pay for the guarantee nor were they clear that you are paying $50 for each foam insert they are giving you. There was never any mentioned or discussion from the associate that if these do not work and may not work or if my issue was not related to what they stated my problem would be, there was no mention these in fact are no guaranteed to work and if they do not, I am still out all this money on inserts that do not help as they said they would. He was very assuring this was going to relief my issues and after a number of days these did not and in fact only got worse. The experience and product for me was very misleading and deceptive. The product may work for others, but I feel as though they need to be more transparent that these inserts are not guaranteed, as they lead you to believe, to help with your pain, they should be more transparent about on total costs and what exactly you are paying for and being charged for. They should explain there no refund policy and that there are no exceptions to refunds, even if their product doesnt do what they say it will. I have a hard time believing that it is fair to not allow some type of refund with a restocking fee or something but sticking people with $1100 bill on something that did not work and worthless $200 guarantee is horrible, misleading and deceptive to consumers.

I went into The Good Feet Store (********, **) on 11/12/2023. I made the appointment for my free fitting expecting to get shoes recommended for my feet. But, was instead told they only do inserts. I was told nothing else. She then got three inserts molded to my feet and THEN told me how much they would cost. *******, the sales associate, pressured me into spending $1700 and never disclosed the price up front or I never wouldve bought! I am only ********************** college at the time and totally clueless about the price. The sales associate never disclosed the price until after the inserts were already specifically molded to my feet. I then tried to return that same day and was told no because they were already fit to my feet. They were already on my feet before I was even told the cost so there was no backing out even in the store! I feel that the sales associate completely blindsided me and took advantage of my lack of knowledge and experience due to my age. Myself and my father spoke to a manager and received no help either. I also left a review on their ****** page and messaged customer service and received no response. As a college student I had no extra money for these inserts and had no idea of the price ahead of time, or I never would have purchased. They are taking advantage of many people by not disclosing prices ahead of time at the appointment. This same experience has happened to many other people (as evidenced by their ****** reviews).
