  I get *daily* calls from this group. They do very shady things like, (1) identify themselves as "Police Officers" instead of their full legal name "Police Officers Support Association", (2) deny that they've been calling me daily (claim it was another group, and it was for "another campaign"), (3) apparently, they only call you once per "campaign" (but each campaign occurs daily), (4) promise not to call you ever again - "per campaign" if you just donate this one time "per campaign" (so, they will keep calling you even if you donate just one-time), (5) refuse to acknowledge my "do not call" request by saying that they will add me to their do not call list (as required by law, they must acknowledge your DNC request) - instead they just hang up immeditely, (6) this entire process repeats *the same day* multiple times, and then repeats again the next day.

If they are scams I would like a refund. Also want this organization to stop calling me.   I have supported the police association in january 2023 They have since called me 2 times a day 6 days a week ever since donating. It has become quite irritating to say the least . I have ask several times to please stop calling . They continue to call everyday . I just want them to stop calling me .

  This is about telephone harassment. A man who changes his name now and then calls almost every day, many times a day. On 12/27 he called, starting at 8AM, calling me 3 times in 12 minutes, and 7 times within the hour. I have a husband who is very ill, and is wakened by these calls day after day after day after day. WHAT DO WE DO? I will go talk to our policemen at the village hall Tuesday, but there must be a way citizens can be protected from these harasses!

  I continue to receive calls asking for"donations" even after I've asked them to stop and remove me. They are persistent in the call talking over me when I decline and ask to be removed from their call list. I've been hung up on when asked to be removed.

  I am writing to formally file a complaint concerning the handling of an incident that occurred on 12/20/23 involving law enforcement officers. My name is *********************************, a 35-year-old resident of Bay Ridge, who works on the *****************. I mention this to provide context to my resilient, hardworking nature. While I've faced numerous hardships, what I encountered on this night was exceptionally appalling. While parked with my partner at 88th & 3rd Avenue, two officers, *********************** & to whom I believe was ***************************** - both who have a history of complaints with abuse of authority - approached us, citing that our vehicle was obstructing the crosswalk. Despite promptly agreeing to move & explaining that we were in the midst of a discussion, the interaction escalated. The male officer questioned the nature of my relationship with my female partner & requested my identification, which I provided despite no apparent wrongdoing on my part. Subsequently, I was informed that a previously paid ticket from ********** had not been registered with the ** DMV, resulting in the suspension of my licensea fact unknown to me due to recent changes in my address. Despite my immediate ********************** that I wouldn't drive until resolving the issue, I was arrested. What followed was a distressing sequence of events that included being confined to a cold & unsanitary cell after being stripped of my belongings. I was stripped of my jewelry from my deceased father & confined to a cell that was not only unsanitary but reeked of urine. It was an inexcusable act of degradation. Throughout this ordeal, I was subjected to verbal harassment from another intoxicated male detainee. Despite expressing distress, the response from officers on duty was one of the most inhumane experiences I have ever witnessed. A close friend of mine, ***************************** is a Sergeant ********* at **************** Hate Crimes Task Force whom I called after my release to explain the horror of the incident. She was naturally not surprised. She explained the facts to me regarding the protocol for my arrest. However, despite understanding the protocol once my name was ran, the treatment that followed was utterly incomprehensible. The events that unfolded were a distinct deviation from the fundamental role of law enforcement & represented a blatant abuse of power. I felt violated, incredibly unsafe, & entirely unprotected. I found myself confined in a space with an intoxicated detainee who verbally harassed me, leaving me in tears holding my ears shut while feeling utterly defenseless. Observing the behavior of the arresting officers, it was evident that Officer ****** was new to the role. I am inclined to believe that the accompanying officer orchestrated these distressing events as a training exercise for her. The realization that I might have been used as a mere training tool is horrifying & deeply unsettling. The callousness exhibited by the officers is beyond reproach. While I was shackled to a bench, enduring verbal harassment, multiple officers failed to provide adequate assistance or respect aside from further screaming. The systemic indifference displayed during my detainmentlack of urgency in processing my paperwork, the failure to address my basic needs for ********************* & the callous responses from officers when I begged for assistancehighlight a profound neglect of ************ decency. The dismissive attitudes & neglect I faced while in custody serve as a ***** reminder of the gaping flaws within our justice system. About 40 minutes after the intoxicated detainee, who had verbally harassed me & another female officer, was arrested, he was released & treated respectfully by the officers who assisted him in locating his cellphone. Meanwhile, I had to endure an additional four hours of inhumane treatment. The lack of basic **************************** displayed was surreal. Being treated as a threat was an affront to my dignity & an experience I would wish upon no one. The events of that night starkly illustrate the dire need for a reevaluation of procedures & a critical reassessment of how individuals in custody are treated. As I sat confined in a room, I observed a clear contrast in treatment between myself, held for a minor infraction, & another individual who, despite disorderly conduct, was treated with courtesy upon release. For hours, I remained restrained & isolated in a cold, unsanitary environment without access to basic necessities or attention from authorities unless I resorted to demanding their presence. I suffered through multiple panic attacks, severe ************ ******** while isolated & alone in confinement. Throughout this ordeal, the on-duty officers had visibility into my condition through the two cameras in the room, yet no assistance was provided. The emotional toll this experience took on me cannot be overstated. The disparity in treatment between myselffacing a minor administrative issue& another detainee raises again, serious concerns about ************************** within the police department. I am extremely hard working, humble & objective, but this treatment was absolutely barbaric & unbearable. Experiencing harassment, embarrassment, & the deprivation of my rights for over five hours chained to a bench due to a DMV ticket mishap is nauseating. In reflecting on the distressing events of that night, I can't help but underscore the gravity of the situation. The circumstances surrounding my detention were disproportionate & entirely unwarranted. To be made to suffer through such an ordeal, compounded by a history of personal trauma, was nothing short of a nightmarish ordeal. The insensitivity & neglect I experienced were exacerbated when I implored another ******** ***************** for assistance, only to be met with dismissive responses & unfulfilled promises for something as basic as water or a simple check on my paperwork. "I'm busy at my desk right now, but I'll try to find someone to bring you water," he assured, only to never return or honor his commitment. As someone deeply engrossed in ***********'s demanding work environmentoften forgoing restroom breaks & hastily eating while managing multiple high-stakes tasks simultaneously within tight timeframesI'm attuned to being "busy at the desk." However, instead of assistance, I heard ***************** emanating from his area behind a door while I was left neglected & exposed for over four hours. This conduct was a shameful display from individuals entrusted with our protection. I am thoroughly dismayed & repulsed by the lack of professionalism & work ethic I witnessed, especially from those tasked with safeguarding citizens. It is deeply disheartening that despite any good faith in the system, I was subjected to such egregious treatment. I'm lodging this complaint because I firmly believe that immediate change is imperative regarding how individuals are treated based on the reasons for their detention. It's crucial to establish a clear balance in the treatment of individuals, distinguishing between serious crimes & administrative mishaps. I am also formally requesting access to the video footage capturing the entirety of this incident. Each passing hour of my unnecessary detainment reflected a diversion of law enforcement resources away from genuine criminal activities transpiring within our community. In the midst of our societal challenges, the absence of empathy exhibited by the officers was undeniably disheartening. Moreover, the technological failures experienced during the ******************** shot process underscore a concerning inadequacy within our system. In an era where technology is paramount, encountering repeated issues due to malfunctioning equipment only adds to the already distressing situation. This inefficiency casts a shadow on the *************************** of our modern systems when they fail to perform as expected. My commitment remains steadfast in sharing this experience on all platforms to shed light on an exceptionally horrifying process & raise awareness about its deficiencies.

  This scam company calls at least 10 times a day to my elderly mother's house. They scammed her out of hundreds over the past couple of years. There seems to be no way to get them to stop calling. Also the numbers they call from are all spoofed/fake. Sad thing is that our government is aware of this as well as other companies like it and chooses to do NOTHING about it!

  Receiving phone calls from a group claiming to be a charity for cops. They hide the fact they are a political group. This is fraud. I tell to put me on the do not call list. They keep calling. I am disabled for health reasons and they call me at 8am repeatedly ruining my sleep. They hide behind random phone numbers. They wont stop harassing me.
