    **** came to my house on 6/17 to take down pine ************ *****, trim 4 smaller trees and scrubs, cut some limbs from tree & tie some arborvitaes. I paid him $1100 in cash because he wanted cash to pay his workers even though I had to run to bank while they were there. After they left I noticed orange marks on new concrete driveway that was installed in 8/2023 for $13,032 & I noticed new top soil and grass seed had been damaged. At 6:37 pm I sent **** a *************** of damage. He said Maybe grease or coolant water drops or when the was Hauling big limbs from the pine. Water pressure with make that go away. I tried using hose that night & next day. I sent **** a text on 6/18 at 1:11 pm ****- Was out there today applying water pressure. Didn't come off. Applied some **** dish soap and tried water pressure and broom to brush/scrub it away. Didn't help. That's a $13,000 driveway and isn't even a year old. I asked you to be careful.You flattened new seed area also.You told me you just put in new concrete at your new house. How would you like it if someone did this to your property? I'm going to give it time but if it doesn't go away you'll be responsible for fixing. He came out on 6/19 to look at marks on driveway. He initially claimed he didnt do it even though the marks are right under tree. He hooked up a power washer while I went in backyard. His employee came to get me to show me the driveway. The orange marks appeared to be gone but he left all these dark gray marks on driveway. When I sent pictures of damage to concrete co. he said they power washed it didnt they.They took off top layer of concrete.. Live with it or replace it. To replace 4 damaged sections will cost $3900.He shouldnt have used power *********** should have stopped when he saw what was happening. He was careless.**** offered to reimburse my $1100 but no more.I told him If you damage someones property while rendering services he is liable. I asked about insurance- never responded.
