i ordered a Moveras th700r-4 transmission from Autozone in the fall of 2021. it arrived quickly, price was cheap (roughly $1500). i paid a garage named ***** **** ******** to assist me in installing the new transmission. it made it 10 miles before it started slipping. i almost couldn't finish the 30 mile trip to my house. i got a replacement from Autozone, same situation with arrival time and price. i put that transmission in myself due to the garage being 30 miles away and having to have had the truck towed to Mr ******s garage would have been expensive. it had shifting issues from the start which progressively got worse over the next week, escalating to the point of the truck becoming undriveable. i started the process of getting another transmission from Autozone, i was told by the manager who i believe was sincerely trying to help resolve this after weeks that he had not heard anything pertaining to delivery of the 3rd transmission. So i decided to opt to get a refund, which was sent to the main office of Autozone to be processed. after a few days had passed i got a call from the manager of the keyser store asking for my address to pass it onto headquarters. I did not hear from the main office about resolving the matter, and the next time i made a purchase at the store Thomas (the manager) informed me that he had not heard anything back either. i personally witnessed him on the phone and trying to resolve the matter multiple times, only to get hung up on/be on hold until his shift was over, at which point another employee would wait with the phone in case their call did get through. I still have not received a refund from the Autozone main office or even gotten a call pertaining to resolving the matter. I have since sold the truck due to not being able to use it for lack of an effective replacement transmission, along with the financial strain of losing $1500+. So even if I did end up receiving transmission #3, it would do me no good.
