  I strongly caution anyone considering Careerist to think twice before enrolling. My experience with their program was deeply disappointing, and I want to share why to save others from similar frustration. First, dont expect a refund, even if youre unhappy with the program. Careerists "Careerist Guarantee" has stringent requirements that are nearly impossible to meet, especially if youre working full-time or have other commitments. The program demands an enormous time investment to complete all their criteria for a refund, which feels designed to ensure you cant qualify. Between the coursework, assignments, and other obligations they set, theres barely time to focus on actually finding a job, let alone making money during the process.Worse, I was encouraged to embellish my resume in ways that felt unethical, like exaggerating skills or experience I didnt have. This advice came directly from their team, which made me question their integrity. The career coaching was also lacklustergeneric advice with little personalization or actionable insight. It felt like they were just checking boxes rather than genuinely helping me advance my career.The so-called "internship" was another red flag. It was immediately clear it wasnt a real position with a legitimate company. Instead, it felt like a staged setup by Careerist itself, with no real-world value or connection to actual employers. It was more about fulfilling their program requirements than providing meaningful experience.Finally, the job market reality is a far cry from what Careerist promises. Most of the tech jobs they claim to prepare you for require a college degree or years of experiencequalifications they downplay during enrollment. The program doesnt bridge that gap as advertised, leaving you unprepared for the roles youre supposedly training for. Save your money and timelook elsewhere for career training. Careerists promises are misleading, and their program falls short in every way.

  In your case, the refund wasnt approved because several key requirements haven't been, including submitting the needed documentation of job applications. We reached out multiple times to help resolve this but didnt receive the follow-up needed to move forward.

  Also, we would like to be clear - we never advise students to lie on resumes. Instead, we teach how to highlight transferable skills and showcase real experience gained through the program and internship projects.

  I signed up for the Manual QA course on a friends recommendation. She and her sister had both taken the course and both landed jobs! I was still a little hesitant but decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! The courses (modules) are broken up into pieces you can actually learn from. The classes are with a live instructor who is already a professional in the field. They are always willing to take questions and are very helpful. If for some reason to have to work or can't attend the online class while it's live, they always record it so you can watch it on your own time. Once you complete all the classes they even line you up with two internships. It was really nice to put what I has used into practice and get to use and learn the programs even more. It was actually a fun learning experience, but also gave me more confidence too. After that everyone gets a Career Coach who you make calls with and they walk you through the next steps to prepare for the interviews, help you build a resume, a cover letter, a LinkedIn profile. Everything! And they really do stick with you until you land a job! All in all, I've been impressed and appreciative with Careerist. Everyone I've interacted with from the school genuinely wanted to help me and were kind to me. They actually care at Careerist! I'm very thankful I was referred to them. I now also refer and recommend them. They help people change their lives!

  The Careerist Manual QA bootcamp is by far the best bang for your buck out there. They offer the perfect mix of theoretical and hands practical educational curriculum, a real world internship, professional career coaching, cutting edge resume and ******** creation assistance and most of all a proven system designed to land you your first dream job in tech.

  Meeting and working with my Career Coach, ******, has been a wonderful experience. He is very knowledgeable! His guidance and encouragement is invaluable! Careerist as a whole is very thorough! Their instructors and curriculum are unmatched and they show and prove that they are here for your success! I would recommend Careerist to anyone!

  I attended a Manual QA Course and IF* you put your time and effort in, you'll succeed and get the job! The instructors give you your base of the knowledge but you have to do research, watch additional ******* videos/read in order to be competitive. A lot of people get discouraged by the amount of resumes you have to send in order to get interviews and I was one of them. But I kept on pushing and landed the job in a huge tech company after 3 months of completing the course. My mentor was helping me along the way, cheering me up when I was getting almost desperate. Let me tell you this - if you know how to efficiently communicate with people, if you are ready to dedicate time and if you have a feeling of common sense, go take the course and change your life!

  I enrolled in Careerist School on a friend's recommendation. She had recently completed their Manual Tester course, landed a job, and then decided to upskill with their Automation Tester course, which also led to quick employment. I've never regretted joining this school. I even brought my husband to their Systems Engineer course. The school is truly a game-changer if you're looking to switch careers and find your place in IT, or if you're an IT professional who's relocated and needs to adapt to American standards. The classes are engaging, with a great balance of theory and practice. The instructors and organizers are incredibly supportive. I received invaluable advice and help with motivation, resume building, and job search strategies. In my case, the job search took a bit longer due to personal circumstances, but both my husband and I have already received numerous interview invitations. Meanwhile, we're continuing with additional courses, and the school is assisting with securing a free internship, which is a great addition to our resumes. You also have constant access to the latest questions from employers, which is perfect for interview prep. Best of all, the tuition is much more affordable than other schools, and the quality and guarantees are far superior. The personalized approach and positive atmosphere are amazing. Huge thanks to the organizers and instructors! I'm confident that we're destined for success and can't wait to share our final results with everyone. I also appreciated that even if English isn't your first language, all the lessons are accessible and easy to understand. This is a huge plus. Highly recommended!

  I always love learning from Careerist, everything is broken down in a step by **** ***** or process on becoming a Manual QA, I love the modules on testing types, software, bug reports and test cases. My only regret is not coming across Careerist 4 years ago, I highly recommend anyone who wants to break into the tech industry, Careerist will not fail you!Thank you once again!

  I enrolled in the Manual ** program in the Fall of 2022, successfully completed the course, internship, all assignments and received my certificate of completion February 2023. Firstly, I have still not landed my first tech role and I am currently on my 3rd career coach. Careerist has made claims and promises that they have not kept. They promoted the automated *** (job application system) but discontinued the automated version. So students had to manually apply. Then the *** system did not correctly filter entry level or accurate roles. Their curriculum is not up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the tech industry. Manual ** should be bundled with the ** Automation program since that is what is in demand now. They also promote a money back guarantee but that only applies to students who pay cash, NOT if you financed. I honestly feel deceived by Careerist and I did not get all of what I paid for. Even though I financed the course, I would still like a partial refund or free access to the ** Automation program. I have implemented all of their suggestions and the resume they completed for me was full of grammatical errors. I received more interviews and call-backs on my own! I am now forced to accept employment outside of tech to pay bills and for this awful course that I regret because Careerist is NOT looking after their graduates. The "internship" is very short-term and not with reputable companies. Careerist also has not demonstrated they have real connections or partnerships with other companies to aid im their graduates landing their first jobs in tech. It has been nearly 2 years of suffering with the financial burden of this course and now I just want my money back. I am NOT happy with my experience with Careerist whatsoever.
