    Wednesday August 16 2023.Amount paid $***** The business committed to provide me with acupuncture therapy. The nature of the dispute is that upon leaving my appointment I had neurological (shooting pain and tingling) from my left hip down into my left leg and it was very painful to walk. When I got home and inspected further, there was still a needle in my thigh just above the head of the femur. A day later, my entire leg is incredibly sore.When u contacted the business, they told me that it happens all the time and it's normal. Some ice should resolve the issue.For me, this is unacceptable. They didn't even offer to take off some of the charges. It is negligent, bordering on ***********.Invoice #drk15692-P01

    *************** came to the clinic August 16/23 2:15-3:45 received a combination Acupuncture and Massage treatment.

    He called the clinic after his treatment and talked to the receptionist about having neurological issues with his leg and found a needle was left in his leg. Our receptionist assured him that ***** (myself) would call him back regarding the issue. I called him back around 5:00 the same day and apologized. Explaining this can happen.

      I my professional opinion, the needle was placed in a position that no further harm would come from it. I asked him how he felt right now and he replied "a little tender" I asked him to take a picture of the needle and send it to me. To this date I have not received anything. I also suggested that I he felt discomfort to ice the effected area. At that time I did not feel that there would be any issues moving forward. 

    **************** paid ***** on his debit card for the massage portion and ***** was submitted to ****** **** for his Acupuncture treatment.

    Since it is somewhat difficult to reimburse an insurance company I would be happy to give ****************  45 minute acupuncture treatment for no charge.
