      I purchased a Saver Fare on October 15th. On October 21st I called to change the return date of my booking. I booked with an **** and my **** was declined when paying for the adjustments due to an internal Canadian North Processing error. So I was told that I had to pay with any credit card other than ****.I explained to the agent that I really needed to pay the entire fare with the **** because it offers me travel protection that Canadian North never does and never will, such as payments for accommodations if the flight is cancelled due to weather. That in itself is worth $300.00 The nice agent came back and told me the higher *** declined to refund my ticket and then charge the ticket in its entirety to the **** at a higher price. I was totally fine paying a higher price. They said they could not refund my ticket because I purchased a Saver Fare which is not entitled to refunds. They did waive the adjustment fee but now I don't have the protections from my credit cardthat Canadian North does not. So in short, because Canadian North's payment system has a problem that does not allow me to use my **** to pay for the charges for changing the flight, I have to pay with a different credit card and lose travel protection benefits. This is clearly a Canadian North problem. My desired resolution is for them to reimburse me for the price of buying travel insurance to cover this ticket. $137.63 CAD. We can subtract the change fee they waived from the price of this insurance to be absolutely fair. Thank you for your time.
