    I am contacting you to file a complain to Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot, for making us believe that they have replaced our mudflaps that was part of their original invoice to our insurance. On September 22nd, I followed up on the status of our mudflaps as we were advise both on the phone and email messages that they are still waiting for the part, to our surprise on September 22nd we were advised that they have changed it already on June 10th.Please see below summary of our email follow ups:On June 20th, we have mentioned that alignment is off, windshield was only repaired and not replaced and gas filler neck is ripped. **** from Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot, advised that the windshield was just added by the adjuster recently and Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot are not aware and asked us to come back instead, she also confirmed that they are still waiting for the mudflaps and tinted window. Take note that these items are already part of the approved invoice sent to our insurance on June 10th. On June 29th, ********* from Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot, confirmed that they are still waiting for mudflaps. On July 26th, ****, owner of Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot, confirmed that they are still waiting for mudflaps and confirmed that windshield, window and alignment will be completed before pick up.On July 28th, we didnt see any new mudflaps installed in our truck and was advised that they will contact us once the part is available. I have requested Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot to provide us the invoice of where and when they get the parts between July ***** and will contact the part supplier directly for verification.Also, **** has mentioned that "invoice is proof that work is completed" why do we have to come back couple more times to do the windshield, mudflaps and window? I have contacted our adjuster and was advised that I should speak to the shop directly for repair issues. Thank you, *********************************

    Good morning BBB,

    Due to supply chain issues and insurance approval we requested that this customer return to our shop for mudflaps, windshield and tinted back glass after this vehicle was towed in due to a theft recovery.  We replaced all of these items and have invoices to prove it.  We did two wheel alignments on this vehicle to ensure alignment was correct as the customer was believing we did not do the alignment. The final diagnosis is that they installed oversize rims and tires on this vehicle that rub on the mudflaps causing damage.  We have told the customer that is the issue and also have it in writing from our wheel alignment vendor who also advised the same issue.  We have escalated to their insurance company who also confirmed that we did our work according to the claim and that it is not due to poor workmanship on our part. We cannot pay for something that is out of our control.

    I am rejecting this response because: As per my email on June 20th, Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot didn't contacted us about the missing work and we contacted them of what we have noticed. Also, take note that windshield on the invoice provided on June 10 to us and to our insurance windshield is included, are they lying now about their incompetency? We have our rims and tires installed properly and professionally by ****** ****** ********* - Calgary; I have provided the same information to Fix Auto Calgary Deerfoot that we don't have any rubbing issue after the installment and just had it after the theft recovery. I would like to see a proof of purchase between July *****, 2022 for the new mudflaps otherwise I expect a refund from this business for being such a *****.
