I brought my vehicle that I had recently purchased at a dealership into the Car Salon to have winter tires put on it. Tires that I had ordered through the Car Salon. I had put a $200 downpayment on with the remaining balance of approximately $2100.. so I brought my jeep in and while they were changing the tires, they called me and asked me what I wanted to do with my tires that were currently on the vehicle? I told them I wanted to keep them of course considering the tires are an excellent condition and were worth approximately $700 per tire.. I got a call at the end of the day to come in and pick up my vehicle which I did. I paid the balance owing of $2100 as well as paying $300 for them to store the tires that they had just taken off. The man working told me that there till had already been cashed out for the day so I watched him put the $2100 in one envelope as well as the $300 cash in another envelope..He did not give me a receipt at the time instead, he just gave me the original purchase order for the $200 deductible recorded as a down payment. The reason for this is because he said the till was already closed for the day.. in May 2023 I contacted the Car Salon to have my summer tires put back on and they told me they call me back which they didnt. I had to call back to finally find out that they had no record of storing my tires and did not know where they were.. when I asked to speak to management, I was told by their service manager that the tires were and I quote garbage, and that they had thrown them out,. In the same conversation, he also accused me of possibly havent taken my tires with me when I picked up my jeep. I explained to him that the tires were not even fit in my jeep, as well as I had my boss as a witness that I did not remove the tires from the Car Salon.. I asked him to look at the security footage which he said he couldnt because it was too long ago. I asked him to ask the guy who I have paid the money to, and he said he was no longer working there.. every time I called and tried to have this issue handled I was given a different story I was like to continually and I was never given a straight answer until after approximately four months of trying to deal with this when the manager finally told me it was my word against his employees, even though I had a witness and explain. I was expected to take a loss of approximately $2400, I contacted the dealership I purchased the jeep at and he confirmed the condition of the tires at the time were excellent.. I had only on the vehicle for three weeks and barely put any miles on it. I am including a copy of the invoice that they gave me at the time for $200, as well as the invoice they adjusted and provided fir me when I ask them for a copy of the receipt for the job completed.. Im also including photos of the jeeps tires three days prior to me, taking them into the Car Salon to show you the condition of the tires and that they were in excellent shape. As if that wasnt bad enough, I later find out that they had replaced my top-of-the-line lug nuts, with garbage, lug nuts, very low quality.. this is something that I know because at the time of them changing my tires over, they contacted me and asked me where the tool was to remove my lug nuts and the following summer when I tried to take one of the tires off myself it was unable to be done because my tool no longer fit the lug nuts that were on the vehicle so the gentleman who was taking the tires after me explain to me that this is something that can be common to happen that people where the switch them out on you because theyre quite expensive. I also told management about that and he said they wouldnt do that. Just like he said they wouldnt steal the tires . I was never treated like a paying customer I was never treated with any respect. They did not try to work with me in this issue whatsoever. They continually lie to me and then expected me to take this as a loss of mine.. I have no doubt that whoever it was that took the money where their management was in it, or not ended up, pocketing the money for the job because I paid in cash, as well as pocketing the money for storing the tires. The fact that management would not help me out with us whatsoever and lied to me about the employer not working there anymore and then telling me hes a manager and having a different story. Every time I called it only makes sense that management may be in or not as well.. I was very disappointed to say the least I felt violated and completely ripped off.
