    I had Del repair engine I asked him multiple times to give me cost he just said around 7000 then got a bill for double that. Worse part issues happened quickly after. Spark plug blew out same cylinder as before took to another mechanic and he documented all issues and Del grabbed it from mechanic messaged him said I won’t bring back to him cause I don’t trust him after having the van for more then 3 months and redoing the job wrong twice and after I saw what other mechanic found he did wrong. basically I was charged 10,000 plus for him to rebuild engine and he just had machine shop or something fix the top engine not 100 percent sure what he exactly did but did it wrong and charged more then a new engine from ford costs but got same engine with same issues plus more bolts loose, belt pulley misalignment causing belt to wear on the outside, exhaust manifold cracked I can list many issues making a file with evidence photos etc and will add later. Worse experience not sure if repeat issues but he also wrecked hood on my brand new painted classic car he said he’d pay for that we will see once that’s fixed and I send him the bill from my paint shop. He parked the car under another car and it leaked brake fluid on front of my classic car so wasn’t just one vehicle he messed up also he just did 5000$ worth of work on that really didn’t do much but didn’t give me price upfront if your going to charge crazy prices at least do a professional job and give upfront pricing I texted multiple times asking how much but never sent me price so I did refuse to pay 5000$ out of a around 20,000 bill I paid 14000 something weird thing is I thought that was final bill then after I said he will need to pay for paint mistake he randomly said I have finalized all your bill I think he was literally try to pull a quick one on it was a very unsettling situation
