First the appointment took a week for them to come out. A major flag was that I had to pay in advance $198.45 prior for them even to come out. Next was the time frame that they gave me was from 11:00- 7:00 pm. No phone call to say that he was on his way. I had to step out for about 30 minutes, but I had a friend here to welcome the tech in and show him where the hot tub was and if there was anything that he needed. What the tech did not know, is that I have cameras all over the house and he was not at the house from arriving to leaving more than 20 minutes. He removed the step and jammed open the cover and looked around and that was it. I passed him on the road and looked like he couldn't get away fast enough as my friend told him that I was just a few minutes away. I called the store and asked why I wasn't called that he was on the way and what was the summary of the visit. The lady said, she forgot and that I would get a quote shortly. About an hour later, I received a email with a quote for $********. I knew this was ******** as he spent such a short time to investigate the problem.I called another company and the tech was out here two days later. He arrived exactly when he said be here and within 60 minutes identified the problem, replaced a broken seal and the bill was $******. ****** to be learned, look around for honest companies and to make a note, never to use them again.

It did not take a week to get seen, you called on a Friday and we booked you in the following Wednesday. Our assessment fee is standard and yes is required to be paid prior to the appointment. It covers the time of the technician to drive and be on site, fuel, admin costs associated. It is only charged once in a 30 day period. Some companies charge for each visit, we don't.We give a large time frame but we do also give a phone call about an hour prior to our arrival so that you don't have to wait around. We do apologize for not doing the heads up call. Unfortunately the staff in the office was with a customer and did not make the phone call in a timely manner and she did apologize to you when you called in.Sometimes more or less time is required but it may only take 15 to 20 minutes to diagnose an issue. We are highly experienced in all hot tubs so we are the experts in this. We also took pictures of the equipment and trouble areas. When we do an assessment, we also do an annual inspection on the rest of the hot tub. So yes the estimate in total was $2329.74 which included the repairs for the leak, which was replacing the wet end on that pump, as well as replacing the heater, and the other wet end. The cost was explained on the estimate that was sent to you and if you had any questions on it we would have been happy to answer them and also would have made any adjustments if you didn't want all of that work completed. When you first called in we explained our whole process to you and you had no issues at that time.Western Tub and Pool is not a "quick fix/band-aid" company, we offer full services to all of our customers to ensure that they get everything they can out of their hot tubs.We are happy that you remedied one of the issues that you had on your hot tub.

Unbelievable jerks, they would send you conflicting invoices telling you owed more money than you did, they wouldn't update the invoices and payments in a timely manner. They sent me to a collection agency and damaged my credit for $45. (On purpose for the sole reason of hurting me)They are very unprofessional, rude, and mean. They don't care about anybody but themselves or in actually resolving issues they, just want to send you to a collection see to damage your credit purposely. You definitely don't want to deal with these people.

Our staff did everything possible to resolve this prior to sending Mr. ****** file to a collection agency. We only send customers to a 3rd party collection agency as a final resort. We sent numerous reminders and emails regarding a balance owing. These were ignored. We also gave multiple extensions as he requested and received promises to pay that were ultimately broken. When sent our final notice before collection action, we still did not hear back from him. At this point we had no other choice but to follow though with a 3rd party because it was obvious that he was blatantly ignoring us.He then sent our staff threatening emails. If he paid his bill, then his credit is not damaged as again the company that we use does not push through anything to the credit bureau unless they cannot resolve the issue. This person is a part of a social media company and has threatened to defame us using every means possible, just as he has in this review. All of this is because he feels that he should have been given a "pass" and not been liable to pay money that he owed for services rendered.
