    Order for bees - 2022, not delivered; 2023, not delivered until offer of delivery (diseased bees) in July. Season is over by then. Refund requested, several emails. Now cannot contact the principal *******************. $2800.

    On Jan 11, 2023 I etransfered ****** to ******************* of Urban Beehive for a 5 frame NUC of honeybees to be delivered in May of 2023. Historically, I purchased a 4 frame NUC for ****** in the spring of 2022 which was not available due to a harsh winter and I elected to keep my account with them open and receive 2 NUCS in 2023. (one of their options). I received several emails regarding upcoming inspections and treatments that were delaying delivery. I received the nucleus colonies on July 15. One week later I had an outside party look at my hives and discovered that they had a disease called Chalkbrood which they came with. The treatment required losses of equipment, the death of one of the queens and the eventual loss of one of the hives. I am still trying to deal with the remaining hive and fight the disease that will damage their ability to develop a strong enough colony to overwinter successfully. I am only asking for the replacement value of one hive. I have emailed and ******** messaged ******************* to no avail. I have received no communication.

    Paid $812.50 on April 26, 2023 for 2 bee nucleus and was originally told they would be delivered late May or beginning of June. Did not hear anything from the seller again until May 31st when we were told the ****************** would have to inspect them around June 6th. Heard back June 9th that they had a mite infestation and would be treated for 2 weeks bringing potential delivery date to June 27th. Heard from them again and the delivery date was again pushed back to mid July. The week they were meant to be delivered (July 16th) the seller cancelled the night before on July 15th and did not send any details as to why until later in the day of July 16th. Seller made no effort to provide another delivery date. Asked for a refund and was told that was not possible because the business ran out of money through operations costs. Still no delivery date pending and had to contact my credit card company for a charge back. Met with other consumers that said he had still failed to deliver nucs from the previous year as well as this one and also had been denied refund. The ******** page and website that was originally purchased from no longer exists and when I finally got to speak with the seller to inform him of my charge back claim, he was **** and rude to myself and many others. ******************* was the name of their seller and while I may not get my funds returned I want to make sure he cant do any further business and hurt anyone else financially.
