    I purchased a brand new 2018 Chevrolet Colorado 2.8 Diesel in June of this year. Approximately three weeks after purchase the Engine light came on and i took it back to the dealership C M P Chevrolet Cadillac Buick G M C *******. No explanation was given when it was fixed by them? In the beginning of October this year was driving on highway and engine light came(which said Emmision) then the engine stalled and the oil pressure light came on and that was the end of the engine!! The engine had about ****** km on it. Always maintenance was regularly done with proof of receipts. Oil changes also regular and filters as needed. Never heavy on gas, was a professional driver for years at the ***************. ***** says there engines are between 250000-300000 and beyond. I paid approximately ****** in 2018 and paid approx **************************************************** at least partial payment back!

    Good afternoon, 

    Client took delivery of this vehicle April 18, 2018. On April 23, 2018 he came in for a check engine light on solid (443kms on the truck) At this time we ordered parts (diesel particulate filter) to repair for code P24B0. Customer returned on May 23, *************** and we installed the diesel particulate filter. Client came in on June 15, 2018 (11,659kms) and we completed an oil change and tire rotation. Customer returned on September 25, **************** where we completed an oil change.  Customer returned March 27, **************** where we completed an oil change, a vehicle health check, listened for a whine noise (we could not replicate), a wheel alignment, brake maintenance and installed tires. Customer returned April 14, **************** where we completed a recall and replaced the line heater for the reductant tank. Customer returned October 13, ***************** beyond any warranty that the manufacturer has placed on the vehicle. We diagnosed the vehicle to need a new engine. Client approved replacement of the engine as his warranties on the vehicle had all been surpassed. There is a 104,398kms gap in any services performed at CMP. The engine replacement had no reflection of past services done at CMP.

    If the customer is looking for assistance he would have to go through the manufacturer as he has surpassed all his warranties.
