I hired Big Al's Texturing to scrape and re-do the knockdown on the main floor and fix the massive amount of drywall issues through the home. We had a tight timeline (start Jul 17 end Jul 22) but they assured us that they would get it done in the timeframe needed. As of Jul 21 most of the work had not even been started and I had to keep calling asking them to come. They told me they had been there, but I had cameras on my house and I knew they were not there. When I walked through and asked for specific items on the quote to be done they were annoyed. So they would fix 1/4 of the length of the wall and leave the rest. I would constantly have to call and send pictures of all the things they missed. By Jul 22 very little had been done. We had to move all our trades that were set to start the following weeks. By Jul 27 they told me it was good enough for primer and that was simply not true. The walls were still wavy, most things needed a few more coats of mud and they had barely sanded. I called the owner to complain and he said "You got what you got and get over it and that I was a waste of his time". This made it clear they were not going to make it right and I would not allow them back into my home after that. They also broke the handle and frame of a large door that now needs to be replaced for cost of $10-15k. A few weeks later they sent a ridiculously high invoice for the work they did. I responded Aug 10 saying I don't agree to this amount as I paid someone to redo the work and you caused a lot of damage to my property, you are not authorized to charge my credit card and to contact me for a resolution. They threatened to put a lien on my home, never contacted me, and charged my credit card for the full balance Aug 23. I have documents ******** but I have many more pictures, videos, and documentation that can be provided. This is a terrible company and people should be warned about what it is like to work with them. * **** ***** * ******* **** ********** ******.

    Hello,

We have reviewed our records and found that the credit card on file (*****) was indeed charged in error.  We have refunded the amount and the credit card has been removed from our system.  Please allow 5-7 business days for the return to appear on your credit card statement.  a copy of the refund receipt is included with this response.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

    While they have said they are refunding the amount charged I have yet to actually see that be posted to my credit card. * ** ** ******** ** *** *** **** ** ******* *** ****** ** * *** ** *** **** ******** ** ***** *** *** ** * ****** Maybe it will take a few more days but it has been almost a week and nothing is there.

This response does not address in anyway the damage done to my property. We finally got a quote for replacement as the technician said the door cannot be fixed due to the fact the frame was twisted. The casing is starting to come off the wall because so much force has to be used to even shut the door. We aren't even living there yet and this is already a huge problem. The door itself is just over $4700 and the cost to install is $3400. The business owner keeps ignoring all the comments about the damage they caused. I ******** the quote for the physical door itself. And this was the cheapest option we could choose. Other doors were closer to $9000. The company has insurance and they should be making an insurance claim for this as their employee caused the damage. I am not sure how they think they should be able to come in to customers homes, do a terrible job, cause $10k of damage and then expect to get paid. This company should not have a A+ rating through the BBB when this is how they operate.

    Sincerely,
