    i was looking for roofing companies to fix leaking roof when Straight Path Construction contacted me for an estimate..***** ***** came and saw my roof and said i needed new shingles. . They put new shingles on **** June 2024. gave me 15 yrs workmanship warranty..He said if you are not completely satisfied with our job you dont pay us a *****.. After heavy rainfall few days later roof was still leaking.. i got Top **************** to chrck my leaky roof . They said very bad workmanship, crooked installed shingles and missing parts on roof and gave me estimate to fix it for $********. Straight Path came and said they will fix some of the bad job but not all of it. They never called back. they destroyed my guttering, flower garden and lawn also.

    I am rejecting this response because:  I do not trust Straight Path Construction. They don't honor their **  year workmanship warranty.  They didn't show up to fix my roof. They don't know how to fix the leak. I want Top Roof and Exteriors to fix my roof and  Straight Path Construction must pay for the bill. They damaged my gutters and flower garden and must pay for the damage.

    Straight Path Construction promised to fix only some of the bad job on my  leaky roof , but not all the faults found by Top Roof & Exteriors. They never showed up. I want proper job, no short cuts. I don't trust them.  Suppose to honour warranty for 15 years.

    Thank you for your response. We would like to reiterate our position regarding your concerns. As previously mentioned, our 15-year workmanship warranty covers the specific work we completed on your roof, which included the removal, disposal, and replacement of shingles, drip edge installation, synthetic underlayment, and vent replacements as per the contract. This warranty does not extend to the step/wall flashing, which was not part of the original contract or the work we agreed upon.

    You mentioned that Top Roof & Exteriors quoted you for work related to step/wall flashing, which was not included in our original agreement. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered to assist in addressing some of the issues to help reduce or stop the leak, even though we were not obligated to do so under the terms of our contract.

    Attached is your invoice with the agreed upon scope of work. Please review and see that step/wall flashing is not included in the agreed upon scope of work. 

    Regarding your claim of damage to your gutters and flower garden, we are confident that our crew took all necessary precautions to ensure no damage was done to your property during the work. Our team carefully cleaned up after the job, as agreed in the contract, and we pride ourselves on leaving job sites in excellent condition.

    I payed Straight Path Construction full amount. I expect proper job on my roof.  They did a very poor job and my roof is still leaking. I had Top Roof and Exteriors inspect my roof.. ***** ***** does not want to fix all the problems. He should pay for his mistakes. Let Top Roof fix my roof properly before it snows.
