The first interview and process went well, everything after that was terrible. They also failed to mention a failed payment from 2024, a year to the month ago, and never informed me. At that time, I was dealing with my mother's death and the emotional and financial fallout from that. A simple email would have helped. They did not reach out to me regarding the credit counseling sessions that I now have to put into a 3 month period, with a mandatory 30 day gap between both sessions...and they are supposed to be counseling me. I would assume that they would have a better system in place. It seems highly irresponsible to miss informing a client of a missed payment and counseling appointments if they are being paid to coach people in finances. I probably should have went with ***, whom I spoke with in the first place. The person I have been dealing with has been unnecessarily rude, condescending, and lacking in a basic human compassion you would expect from any field that has 'counseling' attached to it.

At the time during Covid lost my job, death of my partner, I was behind on payment. They sent me a letter to annul the proposal on October 11th, telling me I had 30 days to respond, I responded to them on Nov1st, advising them that I just got employed and will be able to pay any arrears in payment with my first payment on the Nov 15th. They said no, and still proceeded with the annulment . Did nothing to help or provide any options . now it is still affecting me very poorly on my credit report as it is still not showing as annulled and I can’t make any payments . Called to speak to someone and she was so rude. Lesson learned

**** ******** ** *** ******* ** * ********* * ************ *** ** *** ***** *** . **** ******** did not properly prepare the paperwork when I wanted to file a consumer proposal and later I found out he did this all on purpose because when I asked him to verify the creditors accounts number with the bank statements/Court claim I provided him he simply refused to do so .This man should not be allowed to continue as a trustee. I am writing this review the second time because my last review that I wrote few months ago with Better Business Bureau was deleted. I request anyone thinking about filing a consumer proposal or a Bankruptcy do a proper research and avoid **** ******** ** ******* ** as it will save you from inconveniences later. Not Recommended.

They charged me more than they said they would for helping me declare bankruptcy. I would never deal with the same person more than once so i had no chance of building rapport with my insolvency agent. The "credit counselling" was two 40 min sessions with a lady who wasn't even the least bit invested in helping me. When I tried to push back about the poor service, i was berated by another higher up person who I'd never met before. This company is a great example of one of those lifeless soul sucking corporations that simply jumps through hoops and checks boxes just to say that they have. Without a care in the world for their actual customers, who are going through h*** when they come to MNP for help.
