    I came in for a road test on Nov 23 2023 for 10:30 am. I had booked the road test with a rental of a 2019 ***** Civic. When it was finally my turn the instructor handed me my license and a key to a ****** Corolla. I questioned him about having booked a 2019 ***** Civic. He said that as far as he know there's no ***** Civic here. I show him and the person working at the desk the email receipt of the 2019 ***** *****. They take it up with the owner. The owner comes out and I state my issue and **** about the refund policy. (It strictly states no refunds on the receipt) The owner then tells me that I have two options, either take the car or leave. When I replied with, but what about my refund the owner just repeated: "Take the cat or leave'.I had no choice but to take the car, the owner made it clear that I wasn't going to get a refund at all. So I get into the car and there's no snow brush, the car's blind spot is covered in snow but the instructor doesn't seem to have any comment about it. The seat was also stuck.. keep in mind I'm 5'11 with long legs, so I needed to push the seat back. The mirrors couldn't be adjusted to a comfortable position as well because my knees were pretty much touching the base of the steering section. It was also freezing in the car, the heater didn't work and it was -7 degrees.This business cornered me into a decision that would profit them. I had taken a road test here before in 2022 in the 2019 ***** Civic that I ordered/paid for to rent this time around. I have also had practice with that vehicle and I thought that would be what I would be doing the test with. The main thing though is I paid for it and received an ultimatum to drive a car less equipped for the task or walk away with no refund.

    I had to do the road place since there was no way to get a refund. I am only seeking the rental fee back of 100 dollars since I did take the road test but they couldn't provide me with the rental I paid for and stuck me with a different rental.

    Unfortunately, at the time of the road test the ***** civic was not available, the client was offered an alternative and went out on the exam, we would not offer a refund given the fact he chose to take the exam.
