    Hi ****,
Weve re-sent your tickets to the email address used at checkout, occasionally they can land in your spam or junk folder, so we recommend checking there just in case.
Waiting on a response isnt typical for us, so well be looking into whether there was an issue with voicemail or ticket delivery on our end.
If the tickets still havent arrived, feel free to reach out to us at ********************************** and well be happy to help directly.

June 29th, 2024, I bought tickets to "Vancouver Boat Party Festival 2024" via Showpass. The boat party left 20 minutes early and we were left waiting. Eventually we left and requested a refund, but was never provided one because, and I quote, "Unfortunately, this Event Organizer (GPA Events) has declined the refund request...". Services weren't rendered by fault of the organizer, yet they still refused my refund.

When I bought the ticket, the zone map shows that the zone I bought is just right in front of the stage. After a week I bought my ticket, they announced changing zones making the tickets i purchased to be in a zone much farther away from the stage. There's no refund option nor announcement made for any refund options

The organizer for this event made the change - and has allowed Showpass to process refunds. This customer received their refund the same day this complaint was registered.

I used Showpass services for a ticketed event at my business ***************, at **************************************************, to facilitate ticket sales for monthly comedy shows. Showpass is an online ticketing platform where they collect ticket sales on your behalf for a fee per ticket. Our venue is 24 seats per show. Tickets were $10 to $15 each plus the showpass fees. Showpass collected funds for the ticket sales. My event was October 25th. Showpass is holding my ticket funds unless I provide pictures of my event to prove it happened. (This was never a stipulation of use of service set out when I signed on). My restaurant is 40 seats. The show is the back room of 24 seats. I have 2 people on shift working the restaurant while the show happens. I dont usually attend shows as I work days and shows are evenings. I therefore have no pictures and nor was it a stipulation of my use of showpass when I signed on. Showpass is holding the funds they collected for my ticket sales claiming that we may be laundering money the total Is $250. really? Laundering a grand total of $250??They collected money from my guests for my event and wont pay me and I cant imagine they have a legal right to do this? They say their finance department wants proof of the event to prevent money laundering. If it were a legitimate worry, wouldnt they contact authorities and let them investigate?I cant be the only one this is happening to. If they are holding back funds from other smaller venues like mine, then they are committing a larger scale theft and I imagine most people would just let it go due to the hassle and the amount. I am reporting for that reason and I want to be paid for the event.

We were able to speak with the client directly on the phone - we communicated that verifying events when we have limited knowledge of the event happening is to protect the client in the case of fraudulent activity.  After speaking with the client, we were able to verify the event and get the held back funds paid out the next day. We also let her know that since she was not a new client, she should have had the funds released but our internal systems failed us.

Apologies again to the client and the frustrations caused - we are confident that this will not happen again, and hope that the resolution was both quick and positive.
