Our experience with Max and the team at *** was disappointing and far from what we had anticipated based on previous reviews. Several issues arose during the project, including our house being left unlocked at the end of multiple workdays while we were not living in it, and the presence of unpleasant human waste left in the toilets. When we brought these concerns to Max's (the Owner) attention, his response was dismissive and unprofessional.Daily clean-up was noticeably lacking; our driveway ended up in a poor state (worker's vehicles were leaking oil), and proper protective measures were not used to safeguard our carpets from sanding debris. Additionally, *** initially agreed to repair cracks and patch delaminations, even specifying a date, time, and personnel for the job. However, they later withdrew from their contractual commitment, citing 'settlement issues' when we requested to be present during the work. We were uncomfortable leaving our home unattended and unwilling to provide access codes or keys to an unknown individual.Overall, we were extremely dissatisfied with MKZ's professionalism, their lack of daily housekeeping, and their failure to honor their contractual commitments.

Let’s go over it all over again :-) I did expect you leaving a review such as this, since we have decided not to do a courtesy call on your issue, that was not covered under our warranty which that is specified in our terms & conditions. I don't usually tend to "defend" our mistakes and take all feedback as constructive and ensure that all issues don't ever happen again. Although, your story here does not reflect reality. My employees (I must say that they no longer work for MKZ) did forget once to lock your door, and did use the bathroom and did not flush. Clearly unprofessional, I totally agree. We did have an intern meeting with them and the rest of our team to ensure that things like this don't ever happen, as it is disrespectful to the homeowners and it isnt how MKZ operates. Your project which was texture removal upgrade to a smooth finish, is a very dusty project. The prep work did shift around and could have been done better, I also agree to this. The pictures you have shared doesnt show how we left your project upon completion, which was professionally cleaned as a "construction clean" included in the contract. As for your driveway, we are still not clear on if your oil stains were already existing or not, as it is a very dated driveway and had other old concerns already existing, but MKZ did provided a very fair discount regarding this to have it professionally pressure washed at a later date as requested. MKZ since then, is making sure that no employee vehicles are parked on private property so that this "situation" doesnt happen again. We appreciate your business and thank you for your feedback. ***
