    My daughter went to ***** for a consultation for hair colouring. Her hair was black and she wanted to be blonde. They agreed on a price of $600 for the first appointment with a potential requirement for a follow-up session depending on how her hair lifted.The first session was 12 hours; the colour came out reddish brown, and there was a lot of chemical breakage, her hair was half way down her back before the session and was just past her shoulders when she got home. She was asked to wait one month and come back for the last session which was quoted at $250.The last session was 5 hours. The hair colour lifted slightly however there was a lot of chemical breakage, to the point that my daughters hair was coming out in clumps. I was not happy with the results given the money that was paid and the "promise" of blonde hair. The chemical damage from over processing has take 8 inches off my daughter hair, which has been left with in red/blonde and brown uneven state. I went with my daughter the following Monday to see ***** and to discuss my concerns. She took no accountability for the damage that was caused. I requested a refund of the $250 which she refused.She offered to cut her hair, tone it and complete a treatment, however given the massive amount of damage that was caused already I did not have confidence in her ability as a hair stylist which I expressed and again asked for a refund. She refused. I asked for a copy of her business license which WAS NOT on display, she could not provide this to me, I have messaged her twice requesting this and she has not sent it. I asked to see her hair stylist license (copy included in attachment).I would like to lodge this complaint and request a refund of the $250; ***** needs to know that she should be completing colour tests on hair prior to promising services, she also needs to have her business license on display and be able to manage customer complaints and take accountability for her actions.

    Im sorry I did not see the original email come through on November 10. As I was out of town Im hoping that case can be reopened.

    I have paid in full for all services.

    $600 for the first service and $250 for the second. This was paid in cash as the stylist offered a cash deal.

    Answer you your question:

    I have paid in full for all services.

    September 22 - $600 for the first service and;

    October 28 - $250 for the second. This was paid in cash as the stylist offered a cash deal.

    The second service is what I am requesting a refund for as that is when all of the damage occurred.

    ***** is still yet to respond to my request for a copy of her business license.
