    We contracted Budget Home Renovations to install a livable basement suite in ******* ******* home After a long construction period we are very satisfied with the result The Budget management was very fair and easy to deal with, even when the scope of work was changed from the original concept We found the Budget crew and trades men to be very knowledgeable in their various tasks All in all, we are happy with the quality of work that they performed

    I hired budget renovations to renovate my house. ***** said it would take 3 to 4 months to complete. It has now been over 1 and 1/2 years and it is still not complete. The stairs still have not passed inspection. The main bathroom shower leaked water onto the floor for the first 6 months. The floor was never leveled leaving bumps and divots. The vinyl planks are cracking and he simply says he does not know how to level a floor. The skylight was installed without being insulated. The attic was built with no baffle leaving attic rain to form. Water leaked through our brand new pot lights. The basement shower leaks into the crawl space in the basement. The main wall was not insulated correctly and ice formed on the interior wall. I have now hired another renovation *** to finish the job and I am out thousands of dollars. I do not know why ***** chooses to renovate houses for a living when he just does not know what he is doing, he is all talk !
