    I put down a deposit with *********************** and ***********************************. I signed a purchase offer and NOT a bill of sale. I paid the deposit. They mislead me into going into the dealer and getting a different color and trim and told me that avocado green was out of stock everywhere. However, they considered that as a final sale and refuse to refund me my deposit when I found out that I can get the color that I wanted with another dealer. They are not legally entitled to my money, but they think that they are and refuse to refund me. Apparently it's to clean the brand new car since it was dirty. How does this make sense?

    I am rejecting this response because:

    ****, the sales general manager of south center volkswagen, reached out to me yesterday afternoon to get my credit card info. However, as of yesterday 7pm, my bank has told me that there was no refund in process nor was there any attempt to execute a refund. The bank said it would show up to them immediately if my credit card info was entered in any payment software.

    They reached out to me. Apparently they needed the expiration date of my credit card. I can confirm that they have refunded me the deposit. Please close this complaint as it has been resolved.
