      So, it seems as though they will throttle you internet before calling you and asking if you will upgrade to a faster internet for a higher cost. I noticed that both my wireless 5g and my wired connection on my pc and mobile device were getting only 100mbps. I looked into my pc and realized that it is only capable of 100mbs. So i hooked up my new laptop to a wired connection and again was only getting 100mbps. I have hooked this up previously and was achieving upwards of 295mbps. Even my mobile device on a wireless connection can hit over 280mbps. I even reset the modem and it was still around 100mbps but never above that, typically 95-97mbps. We are paying for 300mbp internet. All connections were super slow for probably 3-4 weeks prior to the call. The slow speeds led me to testing our connection speeds.They contacted my wife within a few days after these tests were run and tried to get us to pay more for internet. I told her to tell them we are not even getting what we paid for initially so lower our cost if they are only providing us with 100mbps internet. Once again, we are back to what we had initially. Ran a mobile speed test and hit 280mbps+. Is this common practice among SPs? Is this legal? Apple got sued and lost for making their old devices less usable through updates. I dont think it is legal to slow down connection speeds in order to upsell faster internet. **** has always been terrible in my books. They took advantage of people with internet, phone and tv for years because they were the only ones around for a long time. Probably going to switch to ******

      Service reps couldn't get what we wanted for changes, cancel TV and upgrade our internet, took three of them and about two hours on the phone. It is a call center located in ******. Save yourself some grief and a pant load of time and ask to speak with a manager in ******, Gong show of a company!

      They lie about darn near anything they trick you into saying yes .however they lie in their presentation Is their a lawyer who will take them to get these slimballs I'll pay as much as needed to set a preference so others can join in & stop this fraud

      I have been a SHAW customer for over 25 years and have had a reasonbably good experience over that time. I thought about adding our cell phones to our package and contacted SHAW about moving our 2 current phones to the plan. Shaw and SHAW Mobility are two different companies?? and I would have to change my current plan to proceed so I changed my plan and afterwords was sent to SHAW mobility, SIM cards were sent out and when they arrived and I tried to get our numbers set up - I was told that they couldn't transfer our numbers even though they have been moved before more than once. They were insisting it was impossible so I told them to put everything back where it was and was told that I couldn't get my plan back because I had changed it. Now I get to pay $25 / month more for a smaller package. I don't get it. Be upfront on what you can and can't deliver. I never would have started the process which was time-consuming if I knew the only thing that would be accomplished was getting something less for more money than my original package.

      I discontinued my services with **** per contract. August 2023 I received notification from **** (without warning) that my account has been sent to *************** for a measly $52.5 because I didnt return my Modem. I didnt know there was a time frame I had to meet- and all of my items were in storage (including my $52.5 modem) as I was in the middle of moving. I think that **** is truly just *************** happy and will pull the trigger any chance they can get. August 30th 2022, **** received and signed for my Modem. I continued to be relentlessly harassed by *************** despite this. September 21st, the questionable staff of **** confirmed with me that my balance was no longer owing and that theyve notified *************** to take me off of their Collections list. From September to this very exact date, Ive been in contact with **** countless of times over the phone and via secure chat in attempt to resolve this, reassured every time its resolved. On November 20th, I was given false information by an employee at **** (whom I forgot to get their name) who informed me that I was actually getting scammed, and that *************** was not in fact the one assigned to my account. She gave me two phone numbers of collection agencies to call, and was told to ask for ****. I called these numbers today and these collection agencies had no idea anything about my account or an employee named ****. Gentlemen on the other line confirmed with me that **** is notorious for providing their customers with false information, and that there is no employee by the name of ****. Im now concerned that my personal information is being sold fraudulently by employees of **** and that my account is going to be sent to the ************* by November 25th despite having no outstanding balance with ****. If you sign a contract with **** expect to sign your life away too. 10/10 does not recommend.

      6+ staff. All on their phones. I was immediately told to call customer service ad they can't do anything in store. So whats the point? I needed advice on dealing with my 90 year old grandfather's account.... nothing. Obviously not properly trained in the art of pretending to give * **** **** *** uncomfortable encounter with the entire crew... ***** ** ********* ******** Definitely rethinking my **** account.

      **** satellite TV provides high prices poor intermittent service and when you cancel after 20 years of no solutions they take you to collections.

      Never gave me the information to return the modem I was using and then charged me because they didn't give me the proper information to return it and when I signed up for *********** at the time you were still able to return the device in stores they changed it and I was never informed of the change I have a bad credit score after fighting with them multiple times being told and ended up having to pay them out and it's still in my credit report now

      **************** is atrocious! I can never, never, never get a human being to talk to regarding billing or payments. No option to speak to anyone to discuss. Only very limited push button options for direct questions. I want a paper bill delivered to my home, so that I can have an itemized account of what I am paying for. Don't like online bill or options. HUMAN SERVICE NEEDED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS!!

      Upgrade to new wifi desperately needed.wifi modem etc. no problem wifi although extenders had to be changed with Blue Curve app with on line help. Installer mentioned this but didn't offer to do it for me.. TV SET UP ON LINE IS APPALLING. 187 CHANNELS RECORD USING VOICE,WHERE IS IT ONCE RECORDED Can I record without using voice. On-line chat is in different time zone. Chat line waiting for delivered response shut down due to time zone difference. major problem in bc is only 2 choices. the other one is worse than Shaw.
