    In May 2023, an Assiniboine completed the project to level our backyard and the sides of our house. Upon completion, we paid the outstanding amount and received a 2-year warranty. However, after the first heavy rainfall, we had a large puddle in the corner of backyard and approximately 10% of the rocks washed away from the sides of the house.Project Manager ***** *. responded by redirecting the waterspouts onto our neighbor's property, a solution that worsened the situation. A subsequent fix involved adding more gravel to the corner, but the sides of the house were left unresolved. Assiniboine then suggested a more extensive solution, which included the addition of weeping tiles and "dry river bed" along the property line. Trusting Assiniboines expertise, we signed a contract for the new work. This project was completed on Jul 29, 2024, but the result was far below our expectations.Instead of the 55-foot dry river bed we received a 36-foot that was poorly executed and inadequate for the amount of water runoff expected from the waterspouts. Furthermore, we asked for a barrier between our backyard and the neighbor to prevent dirt from being washed into the river bed, but what was provided was an unpainted two-by-four plank leaning against the fence. The weeping tile connection to the downspouts was poorly done, lacking connectors and looking cheap.We reached out immediately to ***** and Customer Ser. to address these issues. After waiting for two months, we finally had an inspection by ******* at the end of Sep 2024. His response was that they would "think how to fix" these. By mid-October, we were informed by ***** that no further work would be done on our property, and that we would receive a refund for the last ********** of today, the issues remain unresolved, and we have not received any refund. We are extremely disappointed with the poor quality of the work and the lack of communication. This is not the level of service we expected from a this company.
