      In December 2022 - January 2023, we bought a coat from Boutique of Leathers in ************, *******. We were talked into buying the green coloured one by the manager of the time instead of getting my grandfather a black one, it has since leaked its dye making it a defective coat. We had taken it to the store before for a marking which was fixed at the store by the manager ****** at the time, however it started marking in different spots. As the photos show it should not look like this after only having worn it once. We reached out to the new manager at the store who said she would refund it even after explaining we no longer had the receipt but could see it was basically hardly worn let alone it was defective from the coloring. ******* told me she needed to reach out to her district manager to figure out how to rectify the issue however after speaking to her district manager ********, ******** claimed it was not her issue. I proceeded to reach out to the head office in hopes they could rectify the issue by either refunding or replacing the coat. I was told that the district manager had tried reaching out multiple times when she only called once and left a message which was in return called and left a message. They are now claiming the coat is not defective when you can see that it is, it shouldn't be leaking dye from the coat especially when its Genuine leather!!! We paid $269.55 on sale, it was regular $450. We just want the issue rectified especially after being told one thing just to be told another.

      We are sorry to hear you have had a negative experience in trying to seek resolution to an item that is defective. While our policy states we do require proof of purchase on unworn/unused items we acknowledge that you are unable to provide, nor have we been able to locate your receipt in our system.  We are happy to try to rectify this by offering an in store credit for the amount that was indicated the jacket was purchased for - $ 269.55.     

      We are sorry that we have not made sufficient attempts to contact you and find an appropriate solution sooner.   A representative from our Head Office will call and discuss the next steps to provide you with an instore credit upon the return of the defective jacket.  We hope that we can provide you with a positive experience from this point forward.
