    I signed up for a weight loss program with Calgary medi spa. The Dr weighed me and put me on medication. I was supposed to have support as well. The program included treatments every week at least once for 6 weeks. I paid $*******. I went once and as soon as I started the medication I became very very ill. Severe vomiting. I called several times to talk to an answering service and emailed several times. Finally 3 days later the de emailed me and said to keep trying the medication. It was not possible I could not function. I again called and called nothing. I then emailed requesting a refund as it was within 10 days but they claimed I received the treatment. I was only there for one treatment. It was a six week program. I have since heard nothing except requesting the remaining $******* and no help. I of gorse stopped all medication and cant seem to get any help.

    I am writing to provide context and clarification regarding a recent complaint from a patient at our  Aesthetic , Wellness ******************* ******************************************

    ************************ first visited our clinic on March *** 2023,expressing interest in our Platinum Elite 6-week weight loss package, which she had reviewed on our website prior to the appointment. She was thoroughly informed about all aspects of the program, including its benefits, potential risks, and costs. After careful consideration, Ms. ******** scheduled an appointment and agreed to participate in the program. She made an initial payment of $******* towards the total cost of $****, with an understanding that the balance would be paid within 3-4 weeks.

    During her visit, Ms. ******** also requested a refill of her sleeping pills. As I am a physician specializing in wellness and weight loss and not her primary care physician, I advised her to consult with her regular doctor for issues related to her sleep medication. This advice was given with her best interest in mind, considering the importance of appropriate medication management.

    Subsequent to her initial appointment, Ms. ******** participated in several treatment sessions, including a full body composition analysis scan and several medical device sessions. She was also provided with weight loss injectable pens and was thoroughly trained on their use.Additionally, she was informed about all potential adverse effects associated with these medications. Ms. ******** demonstrated comprehension of this information and voluntarily signed the corresponding treatment consent forms.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    as per Feb sleeping pills. I simply stated I take them and asked if it would be a problem. I did not ask for a prescription and this in no way has anything to do with what happened to me. I was unable to get ahold of anyone to help me when I was so ill. This is absolutely not how any of this went down. How disappointing to see a physician, a professional tell **** a horrible lie.

This step will allow for an accurate representation of the events and contribute to a fair assessment of the situation. 

    Calgary Medispa prides itself on being a small business run by dedicated and trustworthy individuals, committed to providing exceptional services to our valued customers. However, your persistent denial, innuendos, and refusal to settle your outstanding balance of $******** is unacceptable. Regrettably, Calgary Medispa is left with no alternative but to seek legal assistance to recover the amount owed.Our management will be in contact with our lawyer to engage a collection agency to address this matter appropriately.

    We sincerely hope to avoid unnecessary escalation and strive to find a resolution that serves both parties amicably.
