    I used AMJ to move 2 crates of items from ******* to Alberta. The *** I was working with in ******* was very friendly, helpful and made me feel confident in their services but unfortunately, my experience was very negative once my items were delivered.I paid extra to have AMJ ***ack everything into new boxes, primarily so I could have the insurance coverage and peace of mind as these items were being relocated from a storage unit and were quite important to my family. The ***acking was not completed and I received a broken glass cabinet (ir***laceable from 1970s), scratched wood buffet and broken crystal glasses. When I tried to file a claim, I was denied because they movers did not unpack every individual items before my husband signed the drop off form. The movers also left the broken glass cabinet wrapped, making us feel like it was intentional to hide the broken cabinet door so we would sign and they could leave (and not be liable). **** ****, the Team Lead for *************** was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She said it was essentially our fault that we didn't know we had to make them unpack every item to be able to have the ability to actually file a claim for damage. When I also said that the movers did not ***ack everything from *******, she said she asked them and they said they did so even though I had proof that the boxes were NOT AMJs, she took their word against our proof. The additional $645 we paid to "***ack" and pay for damage insurance coverage was a waste and I will never be using AMJ again. *** only compensated me $60 for the broken ******* *****. They breached their contract by not completing the services I purchased, resulting in broken and damaged property.
