On May 3, 2024 I purchased online an EGO lawn mower w/2 batteries for $299 from Grassforge. May 6th I tried to contact them to see when I would be getting the mower and they were no longer on the internet and I had no way of contacting them. I called my credit card to tell them I thought I was being scammed. They said I should cancel this card and get another and I wouldn't be liable. July 26th I was checking my online transactions and noticed that the $299 charge was put back on my card. I called my credit card company and they said that the activity is valid based on documentation provided by the merchant and the provisional credit has been reversed. I never said the activity wasn't valid, I said I couldn't reach them and I thought they were scamming me. I have to this day not been able to contact them and I have not received the lawn mower with 2 batteries for which I paid $299. I asked my card company how they contacted them and they would not share that with me. They did not care that I had not received what I paid for. They told me that when they investigated it as a fraud, I lost the right to have it investigated as a dispute. I have made many calls to my credit card people contesting their decision. I never said anyone else used my card, I said I used my card to purchase the mower and batteries and thought I was being scammed because I couldn't reach anyone and it was gone off the internet. They decided how to investigate it. So not only am I being scammed by Grassforge but I am being wronged by my credit card people. It's September 23rd and I have not been contacted by Grassforge, and have not received what I paid for. I don't have an address for them or a working e-mail address and yet somehow they sent my credit card company a fancy receipt, nothing like the one I received when I made the transaction. I want to receive a refund for the $299 I paid.
