    On October 7, 2022, I purchased 7 fish from Petland Crowfoot. Within the first 3 days, 3 of the fish died. As per Petland policy, I returned to the store with the dead fish and a sample of water from my fish tank. The water was tested and found to have no problems, so the store gave me 3 replacement fish. Over the past week, 4 more of the Petland fish have died, along with 7 of the fish that had been in the tank prior to introducing the Petland fish have died. I went to the store today to see whether they would offer any compensation for my loss. The response was that they would only replace the fish I bought from them, following the same procedure as the original replacement. It is clear that something from the store has contaminated my fish tank, and at this point I don't know whether any of the remaining fish (either from Petland or those I had previously) will survive. Their lack of accountability is disturbing.

    Very sorry to hear about this.  We can definitely work something out for the loss of the other fish in your tank.  In cases like this we can offer a gift card for approximate value of the fish which can then be put towards either new fish, or anything else in the store (fish accessories, food, and so on).
