    I installed central air **** ****, with Ocean Mechanical. This was the recommended company by our condo board as they had done all of the mechanical work in this build. Paid over *****.Unit stopped working in late ********* ****. Tech came and said compressor had blown, was an incorrect valve somewhere in the unit, would be a month to get new one to replace. Did not hear back and then winter came. Once spring arrived I reached out to have replaced before summer. Seems the tech had not even put in request for this work. They apologized and kept saying theyd get back to me. Over 2 months later I simply get bounce back email saying the A/C main guy is out of town. The receptionist also just says have to talk to *** and he is away. This is horrible service and Ive paid for an air conditioning unit that only worked for 2-3 months.At this point, after many other mechanical issues in my home, Id almost prefer they just come and haul it away and refund me. **** * *** ***** **** **** * ********* *********

    Ocean Mechanical Inc. is very sorry that your calls and service have not been completed in a timely manner. We acknowledge that we did drop the ball on this one and apologize profusely. We could give you a handful of excuses, but in the end this was us and we are doing everything that we positively can in order to rectify this and get you a new AC. And yes, we have had staff changes and staff vacations to juggle - but this should not have happened. Your AC failed due to a manufacturing defect and not due to any part of Ocean's installation or workmanship. I understand that we now have you scheduled in on ****** **** **** for a new unit and we will be taking extra care to ensure the new install goes smoothly.  In the future, and if in the event that you feel you are not getting fair treatment please call our offices and ask to speak to a Manager. We appreciate your time and ability to work with us to get this problem resolved.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me for the time being.

    The tech arrived an hour+ late. He is also the tech who originally came to check when my bathroom fan wasnt working and told me its just set low for the main floor and I need to be cleaning out the air filter-which I do regularly. Upon yearly walk thru in new build it still wasnt working and was found that this bathroom fan was not even connected. If this A/C unit has another issue I will request immediate refund.
