      ******************** in downtown ********, which is owned by Cidex Group of Companies in *******, advertise that they are a secure building with a secure bike storage room for their tenants to use. On Feb 8th 2023 my sons 2 expensive bikes (Valued at approx $10,000) were stolen from that secure bike room. The building is refusing to compensate him for the bikes. The building is saying that the bikes should be put through my sons tenant insurance but my argument is that the bikes were not stolen from his apartment. The bikes were stolen from the buildings "secure" bike storage room that they advertise is safe and secure and is to be use by all the tenants in the building. This is false advertising and outright lies! Of course there is no recourse for my son. He is out $10,000 and the building still advertises to other unsuspecting new tenants that their belongings are safe.
