      I ordered boots from Marks online. They sent me dirty used shoes instead. I contacted customer service and they said to return the shoes and I'd get a refund. They received the shoes back on 18 October and as of 28 November I still have not received a refund. Now they just keep telling me to wait in the same form email. They clearly have no desire to rectify the situation or any clue what they are doing.TLDR: They took my money and sent me dirty old used shoes in the mail.

      Today, at Mark's in *** *****, I bought an expensive pair of winter boots for my wife at a cost well over $200. I requested a bag from the cashier for the boots. She asked if I wanted to buy a bag. I asked how much the bag cost. She said the bag would cost 60 cents. I asked why I couldn't get the bag for free since I had made a costly purchase. What was offensive to me was that she refused to give me the
      bag, and despite my protest, she chose to simply ignore me. Why, then, would I ever want to go back to the store for any further purchases. It's small wonder why customers increasingly purchase what they need through Amazon.
      Additionally, how is it that you can't find any sales personnel on the floor to help you find what you need? Imagine, customers have to serve themselves as best they can. You deserve to lose customers!!

      I went to this Marks store ******* ** *** ****** *** **** *** in Surrey BC ....customer service is super bad and the Manager named SUKHI has absolutely no sense how to talk with customers...and the cashier is busy talking with his coworker and when I put my question he just ignored it and talked very unprofessionaly. Its very unfortunate to have such a super bad service in such a reputed country like Canada..I don't know Marks is providing such unprofessional training to there employees....

      I ordered a pair of ****** *** jeans online from Marks and one hour later I wanted to cancel my order. I followed the directions to call customer service and they told me that it was too late to cancel my order. I told the representative that I had ordered the jeans about an hour earlier and he came back and said it was too late. I was not happy with the service and I told the representative that Marks should have a notice on the page that you finalize your order to note that you have only one hour to cancel the order. He said that he would pass my complaint to his supervisor. I canceled my Mark’s account and went to ****** ****** and the exact same jeans are about $30 cheaper. I like to support Canadian businesses but if this is the way Marks does their sales online then I will go to ****** from now on.

      If I could give them a 0 star I would. Bought a pair of slip on runners. Wore them in the house they seemed fine. So I wore them outside walked around the park once. They felt like I was walking on the gravel without shoes. Took them back to marks and they would not return them cause I wore them. They do not back what they sell. Soooo not right

      Marks was unable to provide a satisfactory customer service response in my case. I made two orders with shipping to my house. Without my knowledge, they contracted UPS to deliver the order to a pharmacy 10 km away. Marks, the pharmacy and UPS did not think it important to let me know that they had delivered the order to the pharmacy. By the time I realized the order was taking some time and I checked the tracking information, the orders had spent four days in the pharmacy, and had been returned because the customer "refused" the order. I provided Marks with this information and asked that they send via Canada Post or use an alternate business address, but they refused and told me that I should drive 40 km to the store and purchase the items or make the orders again. I think Marks failed in several regards here: 1. They promised home delivery and did not provide it. 2. They do not provide a delivery notification which is so essential and standard these days. If I order something from Amazon, I know the driver's name and how many orders are being delivered before mine, an approximate time, a photo of the delivery and a notification from the delivery company and from Amazon. In 2023, this is a huge fail for Marks. 3. They could have easily rectified the situation by re-sending the orders per my reasonable request to either use a different carrier or a business address. 4. Knowing nothing of my situation, they assumed that I could easily go to a store 40 km away, but having made online orders in the first place, there should be no assumption that I was willing or able to visit a store. But full disclosure... I made an online order BECAUSE I had already visited both stores in the city and they didn't have the items I wanted.

      Placed an online order less than two hours ago and I am unable to cancel. Tried to do it online, they said you cannot cancel because your order is being reviewed. So then I called customer service and spoke to someone who said the same thing. The problem is that I paid with ****** Pay and realized on the confirmation screen that ****** Pay has my old address on file. The address was not displayed before the payment was made. So now I have an order that I placed less than two hours ago going to someone else's house (so I can't even return the item). I call absolute BS on ****'s for not being able to cancel an order less than two hours old. Profit over people - real classy. Now I'll be relaying this experience to anyone that will listen.
