      On December 17th, I rented 2 snowmobiles for the price of $546 for 1 day. On the day we filled up the sleds with gas ($90) drove up from ******* to Golden with the intention of sledding. Unfortunately only about 1km (4-5 minutes of riding) up the trail one of the sleds caught fire. No one was hurt but easily could have been. We tried to text the companys emergency line as per their instructions but no one answered, and the shop was closed. The other snowmobile maybe went 7kms trying to deal with towing the broken sled back to the truck. Reached out the next day to the shop, advised of the situation and dropped sleds off later that morning. ******* said they had to do an investigation, later was found we were faultless. We were offered a refund on the broken sled, just had to come to the shop to pick up cheque, was told it would be ready by Boxing Day. Went in person to pick up cheque and also asked for refund on the other sled, due to inconvenience and danger they put us in. We filled up both tanks to full (they were not full when we got them) but never got to use the sleds, not to mention the $266 we spent on fuel for the trip that was meaningless. They said they would talk to the owner, and never provided the partial refund they agreed upon. That was all end of December. Since then we have called, emailed and showed up in person on numerous occasions asking for an update, but they never give us one. We were told our request was sent to the boss, but that is as far as its gotten. They never call us back, never provide updates, and never try to resolve the issue. Ideally Compensation for both sleds, gas in the sleds and the gas paid to travel would also be nice, but at this point this company is clearly not willing to do even the bare minimum to make it right so we would like a refund for both sleds, and the gas we put in the sleds which we did not use, totalling $636. We have receipts for everything attached.

      Hello, the owner from All Season Motor Sports did finally get back to me. He was demeaning and frustrating to communicate to. He wrote long winded repetitive worded emails and was not willing on working together for an agreeable solution.

      Ultimately, our promised refund on at least one snowmobile was even a lie as he stressed by contract they only do gift certificates. I could not negotiate, and just wish to be done with the matter.

      He mailed a gift certificate for the price of one sled that can be used only towards a future rental, otherwise I was not refunded anything monetary. I have no interest in doing business or entering a contract with him ever again so its useless to me, but consider the matter resolved. 

      Thank you for trying to reach out, perhaps the added pressure contributed to finally receiving a response at least. You can close the complaint.
