I went to prickly Rose tattoo to see if I could get a cover up so I made an appointment with Ma. She was the tattooist at the time so she did my tattoo, but we did not colour it in because I was gonna be for the next session, well **** took off with no notice and left me to another artist. The tattoo place has told me that she was a great tattooist. She was very well at her job. Well, I go in for my appointment. She does my arm a few days later when its healing I see that its a big blue blob and the tattoo colouring she was doing for me with absolutely horrible. Her name is ***** ********* and she couldve cared less because she has never tried to contact me to see what was wrong. I have contacted the tattoo place quite a few times The owners name is *********** and hes not a very nice man at all so I would either like a refund for this mess or for somebody that is capable of doing a proper job to fix it

We have tried to work with **** many times. For context, she got a cover up. That means that we did a tattoo overtop of an old tattoo she did. In an attempt to hide or "cover up" the old one. Not all tattoos can be covered up. We informed **** of this. **** wanted colour in the flower, not just black. Her old tattoo was all black. It's extremely hard to cover black ink with anything other than black ink. So **** and ***** decided on dark blue. This needed to be done dark, to cover as much of the old tattoo as possible. **** was made aware of this.

As you will see from the emails between her and I (********, not *********** as she stated in the complaint), I tried to get her to come in so we could see the tattoo in person. We can't make any plans or decisions based of pictures, especially low quality pictures. We had a date set for her to come in, and she cancelled the morning of. I asked her when she would be able to come back in, to which she sent an email stating she was too busy at the moment and she would just wait for Mar (not Ma or **** as she stated in her complaint) to come back. I did not respond to that email, as Mar will be gone for 3-6 months. Which **** has been made aware of.

Mar is from ****** and had a problem with her **** paperwork and had to leave the country immediately to get the mistake cleared up. We were unable to give **** any notice regarding Mar's departure.

I then get an angry, unprofessional email from her accusing me of not responding to her. I then sent her, her quoted email that she was going to wait for Mar, and that is why I didn't respond. At no point was I mean, angry, or anything less than professional towards her. I was more than willing to see what we could do to resolve this issue. We do not see the issue. This is what was explained to her. This is how it was going to turn out due to her request of colour for a cover up.

    She also signed

What am I responding to? Is there a BBB consultant I can actually speak to? The client did not provide a reason for why she refused our response. Again, I have tried to work with her. She cancelled her appointments. She wanted to wait for the artist that started the tattoo. That artist is back in ******. We cannot offer a solution until we see her in person. She has been difficult to work with, and is insulting to myself and my staff. Not to mention, she signed a waiver that states "I realize the tattoo will be done to the best of the artists abilities at the time" (that doc was uploaded in my last response). We will not be providing a refund.

    Because they are very dishonest

nobody told me anything about mar

I just assumed that she was deported

they also told me that ***** was good and for me not to worry .. and I eneded up with the worst tattoo of my life. That they think there is nothing wrong with it .. and I very much disagree with that statement !

We never said anything was wrong. We told **** to come in so we could discuss options. We tried to have her come in, to which she cancelled our appointment, then declined to come back as she wanted to wait for Mar. The tattoo she got is what she asked for. This is also a cover up, meaning covering up an old tattoo. She was advised that we had to go dark in order to cover the old tattoo, or else the old tattoo would show through.

At this point we are not willing to work with her as she has not been cordial in her communication. She signed a waiver stating 'the artist will complete the tattoo to the best of their abilities at the time.' There is nothing else to discuss.
