    Paid $1,370.00 CND to *****************, at US Tax Resources, to do our ** and ******** Taxes for 2022. He filed several ** and ******** documents incorrectly, and failed to file my Husband's ********** return.

    I had an online meeting with ***************** on Jan 24th, he stated he could do both my husband's & my CND and ** taxes for 2022. On March 20th I emailed ***************** to check in, no response. On April 5th I sent another email, he requested we upload 2022 tax files, I did so. On May 1st he told me our taxes were done, admitted that he filed them late, but stated it would not affect us as we did not have anything owing. He sent me an Invoice for $1,370.00. We paid the invoice under the impression that the taxes were correct and filed. After not receiving a refund from ********** I contacted *** on Sept 7th, no response. After several failed attempts at contact, I messaged him on Oct 11th stating I needed contact immediately. *** contacted me by phone. He said, "something was wrong with his software" and that, "some tax files may or may not have been submitted for filing in the US". He told me to print out our documents and send them by mail. He sent me the documents, insisting that I get them in the mail by Oct 16th or face penalties. After reviewing them, to the best of my knowledge, I noticed my Husband's ********** taxes were missing. On Oct 12th I sent an email requesting confirmation that the documents were correct, no response. On Oct 16th I emailed again, *** responded stating my husband didn't need to file ********** taxes. I emailed back stating he had my husband's K1 and had income from **********. ***************** called me that afternoon, said there must have been "a mix up", said that he would file an amendment. On October 16th I emailed ***************** stating we would no longer be in need of his services. After attempting to review our tax files I contacted another CPA and requested their help. After further review from the **** ***************** did not file our returns in ****** or ** correctly. He charged us for the full ** & ******** Taxes but failed to provide this service. We are out $1,370.00, as well as owing thousands of dollars in taxes.
