On July *, 2022 I took my Lexus *** to get my brakes changed. I paid for set of front and rear pads and brake rotors. On March **, 2023 the vehicle was taken to Lexus for its regular maintenance and I was told that the brakes needed to be changed and they wondered if anything was done at All trans. I contacted the owner at All trans and told them of my concerns. He was not very accommodating and said that "so the dealership and god and we are garbage". I said I just want the problem fixed and get the service which was paid for. He told me to bring the vehicle in however, at this point I just don't trust them. I don't want them to do something to the vehicle that will cause more issues. I am wanting a refund of $****** which is what I paid so that I can take the vehicle to Lexus. thank you

    Hi ********,

In response to ID ******** Customer took an appointment for a brake job we ordered the parts on july **, 2022, repair was carried out on july ** 2022.

After 8 months. customer is saying that the brake job was not done by us as per the dealer this also was after she took her vehicle for reguler maintenance to her dealer.

It is obvious that anybody will be upset that customer can complain and accuse us of not doing the work after 8 months. Work done is still under warranty if she is willing

to bring her vehicle back, we will inspect and carry out necessary work which is related to the work we have done.

Please contact me if you require further clarification i will be more than happy to oblige.

       Sincerely

I am rejecting this response because: Initially when I contacted the vendor, the response was not called for.  I appreciate that they are willing to do the work as it is under warrantee however, the trust factor is gone.  If they are able to contact their parts supplier and forward this complaint, they may get their money back and in turn reimburse me so that I can take the vehicle to the dealer.  I trust that my rational is satisfactory and that we can reach an amicable decision and move on.

    Sincerely,

From customers response I  can see that there is acknowledgment on her part that work was carried out by her requesting a reimbursement for parts purchased. It is not a common practice for supplier to reimburse customer for parts purchased. Unless they are defective then they will be replaced. I can see that the customer is changing her statement from the current E-mail. In her initial E-mail she said that, as per the dealer brakes were not done at all. on what ground is she asking supplier for reimbursement? It is unfortunate that she has trust issue but as I have already said previously that with work carried out if there is any issue then we will be more than happy to help.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Sincerly

I am rejecting this response because:  first and foremost my "trust issues" are legit.  I am not changing my statement as when the car was taken to Lexus they said your brakes need to be done. When I said they were just done, he questioned if indeed they were done and showed me on their diagram where my pads were.  Sure parts can be faulty but both front and back??? Which does raise the question of whether or not they were actually done.  When I had originally called the shop instead of reassuring me to bring the vehicle in and they would look after it, the owner was on the defense.  Which again made me question their ethics.  So NO, I will not be taking my vehicle there and want a full refund.

    Sincerely,
